Town Fair Tire

People are nice. Prices are good. They can get busy. Be prepared. I like them here. My second set of tires (different car) in a year.

Very poor service. Brought in 2 cars for tire change and alignment. Car 1 was for all 4 tires replaced and wheel balance and alignment. Car 2 was for wheel balance and alignment. Was told that the jobs would take 90 minutes. The job took more than 3 hours to complete. This was after setting up an appointment for the work.
Disappointing

So we understand that certain days, business is swamped! Monday visit did NOT work. No issues… returned Tues with 8:30 appointment!
DONE, friendly and pleasant. Laughed at my wive’s jokes. Recommended BellyBusters for breakfast and YES, it was great!
In/​Out on our way quickly. Tire rotations FREE but they still treat you like a valued customer. We will always buy tires and rims here!

Great service from Mike at Town Fair Tire in Billerica. Snow Tires had to be ordered and came quickly. Got a great deal. Very flexible schedule for making appointment that fit into my day. Only took about 45min for the tire change. Location was easy to find and get in /​out.

AMMENDED REVIEW ¹²⁄₁₄: I was called immediately after posting my negative view. The Town Fair representative was apologetic and admitted that they had way over booked. Told me that he would refund the cost of the tire switch over as compensation. Unfortunately I would have to make a trip back to the store. I couldn’t get back until last week so I have raised my review to 3 stars (my time is worth more than the money).
Original review: One star is as low as I can go. Made appointments for two cars 10 days in advance. Simple put swap my 4 snows with the street tires and balance them. Told to come in at 8 (a Saturday) and after the first car is done swap my cars and come back. I was the third person served at the counter. They have 3 bays here. It was an hour before they even moved my car to the back. Must have seen half a dozen people come after me and they all were finished before my car. Swapped cars and after an hour and 45 minutes (complained about the wait at an hour and a half) they moved my car around back. I am assuming it will be another 30 to 40 minutes if I am lucky. If it weren’t for the free change overs (bought over $ 1100 for the tires alone) I would go some where else. They can forget my repeat business.

I got tires from this place about a week ago and it was the best experience I’ve had ever buying tires. The salesman Mike (the big Italian guy) was extremely helpful and respectful, and didn’t seem to take me for granted and try to make me spend more money then I had to. Very satisfied with my service. I Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Today I had one of the best sales interaction with the employees at town fair tire in Billerica. .but one person stood out his name was ethan r. I did not feel taken advantage of. I got the answers I was looking for and stayed way within my budget for 4 new tires… my tire sensor light has been on for years as of 11 am today its no longer on thank u to my new found friends at town fair tire… I am letting everyone know about my wonderful experience there

I have a 2008 BMW 528XI which was having all kinds of balancing and alignment issues. Mike K at the Billerica store did a great job of dealing with my urgency and stress. He and team resolved my issue after trying many different solutions and I left extremely pleased not only with their service but also their patience and professionalism. I’ve bought many tires from Town Fair and don’t understand why anyone would go anywhere else.

I had a minor incident with my tire and decided to replace all four at the best price. These guys were extremely helpful to my wife and me during the process which took us several days, mostly trying to decide what tires to get. There was never any pressure or push to make a sale.
After I got the car back it seemed the alignment I had received was less than perfect. At the 500 mile tire tightening I mentioned it. He went and got the alignment guy so I could explain what felt wrong. They fixed the alignment at no cost and no hassle at all.
I have been going to these guys for many years and have had nothing but excellent service. Keep it up, thank you.

I buy my tires from here and always feel like I am getting a good deal and taken care of. I have come here for the past three years for my snow tire changeovers. I love the price, and the service. My snow tire changeover and alignment is only $ 89.00!!! I go out of my way to make the extra stop here so I can save money.

Knowingly sold me a tire with the wrong sensor for my car causing a light to come on to indicate a mounting problem. An employee cut me off when I was asking a question that I now realize would have uncovered this, but they just got me out the door.
The tire fit but it’s annoying that they knew they were selling me the wrong one. If I want my TPMS light to go out it will cost $ 150.
The one star is because I had a previous experience that was positive. Unfortunately the person I dealt with the second time was far from dazzlingly in terms of customer service. I wouldn’t go back.

Six months, maybe more ago brought them my truck to align, they said they could not adjust to spec because I needed different bushings, still charged me full price though. I recently took it to someone else was able to adjust the alignment much closer to spec with out the kit I needed to get it 100% right. I can visually see the difference to the alignment, it looks much better now than it ever has before. Also while I can not be certain, while at the car wash next door it looks to my like the employees are doing burn outs in their customer’s cars…

Over the weekend I hit a curb and blew out both of my passenger tires. As I had bought two tires from the last year, I had my car towed to them. First thing Monday morning I called and William answered the phone. He could not have been more helpful! Not only did he replace one of the tires for free (part of their roadside guarantee, but he also went out of his way to find a used rim for the front that had been severely damaged. He very easily could have made me do the leg work but didn’t. By noon the next day everything was fixed and my car was back to normal. Thank you William!

I wish I could give zero star but unfortunately Unilocal doesn’t have that capability because this place definitely deserves one.
Avoid at all the cost. Took for an alignment and they did not do the work and held my car until at the closing to let me know that I had to take the car back to the mechanic for other repair and then they would be able to fix it. This was my second time going to Town fair tire, I had been to the one in Salem and then mechanic so this was just an excuse not to finish work.
Took the same work without any work back to Everett Town fair tire and they got it done ! Absolute scum bags (sorry for the word) but that’s what the Billerica town fair tire place is. They also make you wait a long time, don’t waste time and money here !
