Baker Transfer and Storage in Billings is worthless. First, they come out go through all your personal belongings and give you an outrageously high estimate. Then when it’s actually time to move, they can’t nail down a specific date to pick up or even deliver your stuff. I was moving on October 6th. They said they could come out on the sixth, but they couldn’t deliver until the 17th. It doesn’t take 11 days to drive to Wichita. I needed my stuff in Wichita way sooner than that. So then they were going to come on September 29th. No one showed up. When I finally called, I was told they couldn’t get a driver.
Do yourself a favor. Go to
. It’s very simple to reserve a truck and hire help on both ends to help load and unload on the dates most convenient for you. It also cost me about half as much.
