I believe this place is now closed… not surprising. The last time I took a chance on a quick lunch here — eh, I should have known better. I ordered a Caesar(tasted like an entire lime had been squeezed in my drink) and my potato skins were rubbery and cold. There were literally 2 other tables of patrons in the entire restaurant… no excuse for crap service and food. I hope the building sells and we get a good local restaurant in it’s place!

We had a reservation for a group of 16 for a birthday party. Since they called to confirm the reservation they should have been prepared. Unfortunately that was not the case. We were assigned an inexperienced waitress who took 15 minutes to even acknowledge that we were there. She took drink orders and after 30 minutes we still did not have all the drinks. So a member of our party went to the bar, ordered and served the missing drinks and some refills. We even had to go to the bar for something as simple as a pitcher of water. A member of our party also went around to empty tables to find everyone a napkin and some silverware. The salads barely made it out before the food, which took about 45 minutes. The waitress thought she had all the food out when she realized that six people were missing their food. Those that were served early had completed their meals by the time the last meals arrived. Not the way a large party enjoys their time together. At least 2 people received the wrong item. It wasn’t worth the time or energy to complain or we would have been there all afternoon. The most disconcerting event was the fact that the grill cook was wearing pajamas and had an infant strapped to her chest has she cooked over the grill. Don’t go. There are better places to spend your hard earned dollars.

Right when we walked in the whole place smelt like an out house. Our soup was delivered at the same time as the entrée. There was no ice in my lemonade on all three refills but my boyfriend had ice in his coke. Steak was sub par and it’s a steak house. The buffalo chicken sandwich very plain no seasoning. Let’s just say not impressed. And the waitress cracked jokes at my boyfriend multiple times. also while we were eating Our check was delivered… Rude. Prob won’t go back.

Very disappointing. We got our dinner(prime rib) in the middle of our appetizer. The waitress said so it wouldn’t get cold. Then she served our salad after the main course. We weren’t asked if we wanted another drink she just brought us the check. Don’t waste your time eat somewhere else!

The meal was delicious. I ordered a flat iron steak, it was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the prime rib. It was an excellent portion size and cooked as ordered. BTW the beer was excellent a local red ale. When we entered parking lot it was nearly empty, that concerned me at first but the food and service were great!

One star is to much for this place. Staff was terrible and the food cooked bad. Took over 2 hrs and the manager was the worst manager for any restaurant. I will never come back nor ever recommend this place. $ 30 for a over cooked steak and then they said they were out of steak when they took it back to redo it. STAYAWAY!!!

Absolutely terrible. I took my family from out of state out for steaks-what a mistake! The restaurant was empty and our service was so slow. We practically had to beg to get our drinks refilled. We waiting for at least 30 – 40 minutes after our order was taken, only to be told the restaurant had run out of baked potatoes(a side almost every person in our large group had ordered) for part of our order, so 2 people had to choose a different side. When our food came out 20 minutes later, no one had baked potatoes and the server had substitutes fries because there were no baked potatoes. Ridiculous. Our food was not very good-my vegetables were burned and my chicken was rubbery. They restaurant didn’t apologize or offer any comped meals or other gestures for the debacle. I will never return. It was very disappointing.

Sorry but this was very disappointing. First seemed a bit run down. Shrubbery was dead or overgrown. No pride in appearance. Saturday night at 7 and very very empty. Chips were cold and salsa out of a jar. Steaks were over cooked. Oh and the sad part mixed drinks were crazy priced. $ 9.25 for a double vodka. Hmm would pay that if the food was worth it. Not the place we used to visit. What happened?

I’m not sure if they have made recent changes because all of the other reviews are bad, but I loved this place and so did my picky husband and kids. We went for dinner on a Saturday evening. We had by far the best service we have had since moving to Montana. Rhonda was our server, she was incredibly attentive and friendly. Our drinks stayed full and our order was spot on. We ordered wings and an onion blossom for an appetizer both came out promptly and tasted great. We also ordered salads which were crisp and tasted very fresh, I had a flat iron steak, my husband had a sirloin steak, my kids had chicken tenders, fries, a baked potato, and the stuffed bell pepper soup all of which were great. My husband’s steak was ordered medium well and came out to perfection. Mine was ordered medium and while a little on the rare side in the dead center it still tastes great and my dog appreciated the center piece when I got home. The atmosphere of this place is a little dated, but ehh we live in Montana let’s all be real everything here is a little dated. I did appreciate how family friendly this place was even though it has a casino attached. We will definitely be back.

45 minutes to get bread and a crappy salad, drinks were never refilled. Food orders were not correct at all and had to be sent back. Server was horrendous in every aspect of his job. Management was apathetic at best.

Went in last night for dinner and they were way busy. I wanted to order the prime but was told they had run out. Our server was very apologetic and let us know what other things they ran out of due to a serious rush. I was glad that she let me know and made other recommendations. The food was good, the servers were prompt and very welcoming and helpful. The manager even came to our table even though we saw her working with the cooks. I have eaten here before and was not impressed. This time I felt I needed to review them because they have turned the place around. I just think they may not be used to getting more business and have to prepare more.(I will go back to get some prime rib).

Good service. That’s about it. The food was as «good» as the worst food in my college cafeteria where I never ate because the food was so terrible. We were there at lunchtime but no one was there. Not surprising.

I wanted to like Cactus Creek again! Our waitress was very personable but served all 3 of us horribly presented food. I ordered the Outrageous BLT and it was cold and disgusting. My friend ordered a house salad and ½ sandwich which even looked disgusting. The 3rd person in our group ordered a burger and it looked, to me, like it had been pressed between two hot plates and served on an old bun. Either they need a new cook or management needs to get a clue about what great food ATTHOSEPRICES should taste and look like.

I chose this restaurant because I wanted to try a place I haven’t visited before. Also because I didn’t want to wait for a table as the other spots on the strip looked packed. The parking lot was nearly empty, which probably should have scared me away as the time was 7:15pm. None the less, I thought I’d give it a try. The atmosphere and décor is nice, and I was surprise that there were only 15 patrons. I ordered the filet with salad and potato. The salad was fresh and was served as a normal size portion or typical serving size. The filet mignon I ordered as mr was served as requested. Not a lot of flavor to it, but not bad either, especially after adding A-1 sauce. Service was good and food delivery was prompt. Nothing extremely memorable or special, so I’d rate the establishment with 2 stars.

Absolutely awful lunch. Ordered the Cobb salad and the chicken sandwich. Awful presentation and tasted more bland and uninteresting than it looked. Salad was the scrap shite lettuce and barely and ingredients. Sandwich bun was soaked in butter and the actual chicken breast had zero flavor. Atmosphere was poor. Has great potential with nice atmosphere, bar, kitchen and tvs but it was completely empty. Probably because of the awful food. Playoff football was even on and they had 6 people in the place including us. Very sad. Used to be a great place 10 years ago. Management must’ve moved on and current management must not care.

I usually don’t comment on service but our server was pitiful. Slow and somewhat«out of it», she proceeded to give us slow service and wrong orders. My friend is still waiting for his bowl of chili. She may have been high. Food was poor to boot. Won’t go back.

Went there on a Sunday afternoon to watch the bobcat game. We intended on staying the entire game, play pool, and have drinks. Out waitress was an incredibly rude older woman who obviously hates her job. Made multiple rude comments to us the entire time even when our group reached about 15 people. She even tried to tell me friend she ordered wrong when I was siting next to her and heard her order the same as me. Our tab was almost two hundred and struggled leaving her 15% but did for good karma. The food was descent. Service horrible horrible. We received a walk by every thirty minutes if that. When she did come we wanted her to leave… will never return.

The restaurant was nearly empty, but service was prompt, friendly and attentive. We had the app combo because we wanted to try the walleye fingers, and split a cobb salad. The apps were all fresh — you could tell — and not from the freezer. Good quality meat in the walleye fingers and the boneless chicken wings. The sliders were just ok. The cobb salad was good, but they didn’t have a dressing that really went with a cobb, so we had the raspberry vinaigrette which was way to sweet. We liked our meal, didn’t *love* it though.

Really good burgers, fries were hot and crispy. They have beer from Red Lodge Ales on tap. We were there about 8 on a Monday night, well past their busy time, but when I checked the time at 8:20 we were half done with our food. They were very fast and friendly. The burgers and sandwiches were priced around $ 9 and the steaks and seafood were more.

Nothing fancy but good food. The crusty melt sandwiches are really good and their french fries are great!
