History

Established in 2012.

In the heart of every cowboy lies a dream. Adrie Groeneweg had one that started in Hull, Iowa, in 1981 when he was just 19 years old. It was simple. Why does everyone have to drive out of town to get a pizza? With just six specialty and single topping pizza recipes developed by Adrie’s mother, Lorraine, Pizza Ranch was born. The residents of Hull flocked to the young restaurant for made-​from-​scratch sauce and dough and other fresh ingredients. As word spread, Pizza Ranch grew. The dream that began in the heart of a young man now extends to ten states.

If you had asked me 6 months ago if we liked pizza ranch, our answer would’ve been a quick definitely not. But we hadn’t eaten at one in over 4 years & the kids were begging, so we tried the one here in Billings.
The food was actually pretty good!!! I was pleasantly surprised as was my husband. The staff was on top of picking up the dishes & quite helpful! We have returned 4 times since & each time the food & service is really up to par! Very family friendly!

This place is pretty darn tasty for a buffet! The pizza is pretty decent for the price you pay, and they are very good about refilling when stuff runs out or low. Its a little odd that they have pizza and fried chicken, but they are both very good. I especially like their fruit dessert pizza, and their coffee is very good. It’s a little steep for dinner, but a decent price for lunch. I would recommend it, and will certainly be eating here again.

Ordered delivery and the food was blah. The lady who took my order over the phone was nice.
The chicken wrap was so so. The wings weren’t bad but they were tiny. All they have to drink is soda.
I wouldn’t go out of my way for this place.

Gross. We’re from out a town and were driving through. We had been seeing the Pizza Ranch signs in the area and decided to check it out. What a mistake. Gross pizza and way too expensive. Plus the lady made me take the reward card thing even when I explained that we were from out of town. She insisted there was one in Kansas City. Uh, no there’s not and thank goodness for that. I threw the card in the trash.
