Business Owner

Jean McGrury of After The Proposal Weddings & Events has been a professional planner/​coordinator for 20-​plus years. She has done everything from backyard weddings to star-​studded corporate galas for more than a thousand.

Before relocating to the Gulf Coast in 2005, she was one of the most sought-​after planners in Southern California. There,​Jean was The Knot’s local wedding expert for Orange County. She also wrote articles for national industry publications, frequently appeared on TV, produced wedding shows, and taught planning classes at local colleges.

As Jean says, «I love, love, love helping clients no matter their budget. My clients become my family, and I build a very personal relationship with every one of them.»
