What can I say other than it’s Applebbes. Food is usually standard. Nothing to really write home about. I try to get something new each time I go. So far, nothing has ever made me really go WOW. Service was ok. Pretty quick in getting the food. Server checked on us quite frequently but that could be because she only had about 3 tables while we were there. Moderately priced. Three of us are with appetizer for $ 48.

Can’t help but to give 5 stars when the manager, Stephen, cones to your dinner table to greet you. That’s just plain downright classy. Love it! Started with a cup of Tomato Basil soup. Soup was cold in spots and warm in others. Not consistent in temperature. Can’t take a star away cause manager greeting still weighs heavy. Shrimp scampi was with tomato sauce and not pesto or creamy white sauce. Caesar salad was too saucy. Those stars are dropping fast. 3 stars.

Eighties music. Chain smokers. Really bad prepackaged food and nasty service! The place is depressing! How is this place still open? Oh right, this is Mississippi and these dang fools don’t know any better!

Quick and easy food. Not bad service either. Happy Hour specials are pretty good too, 3−7pm and 9pm-close. Update: Happy hour $ 4 drinks are hit-or-miss. Typically order the Long Island Iced Tea. Half the times I thought I was drinking watered down Coke.

My husband and I stayed at the La Quinta Inn behind the restaurant last night and grabbed a late dinner. Not only was the service fabulous(embarrassed to say I can’t remember our waitress’ name but she was wearing a Reggie Bush jersey since the Saints were playing) but we had a wonderful bourbon bleu cheese burger that was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Would highly recommend! And as a native Californian I’ve got to say I’m loving the southern hospitality!!!
