If you like crab legs this is the place for you! They have crab legs galore but that is the best part of this. There selection is mediocre otherwise. For being advertise as a seafood buffet, they lack variety.

Over the Christmas holidays I had the great experience of eating at the Golden Nugget in Biloxi. Thursday through Sunday they offer not only snow crab legs but king crab legs. WOW. They were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I would say the best I have ever had and I have been places and went back many times. The buffet selection was of wide range and well prepared, everything from Asian to Southern. If your in the Biloxi area, I highly recommend going here, you wont be disappointed. The service is friendly, cant wait to go back to Biloxi, just to eat here. I like the casino as well, actually won for once.

Amazing mixed reviews here, but I see why — if you are not there for the crab, it will be fairly unimpressive. WECAMEONLYFORTHECRABBUFFET, ALLYOUCANEAT, so that is all my review addresses. For $ 30, we were VERY impressed. There was an open buffet with literally ALL the King crab & snow crab one wanted. No strange restrictions, no waiting for a server to refill, just walk up and pile it up. The crab was cooked perfectly the night we went. My husband ate well over $ 100 worth of King crab even by market price-standards. The server was very prompt in emptying our bucket of crab trash(?), refilling our drinks, and clearing our empty plates. Very efficient service. There were some other items on the buffet, but this is NOT a «casino buffet» in the traditional sense! If you expect that, you will be VERY disappointed, as it seems some are. There are definitely other options, types of food, but they are limited choices. For example, I also had some DELICIOUS Phở(soup) with my choice of traditional ingredients to add myself. I loved it! I also really liked the seafood gumbo, thick and warm with sausage, shrimp, etc. There’s some other meats available. I thought the roast tasted weird. There was a small area of comfort food, and a small salad bar, some desserts(including sugar-free options) and some soft serve ice cream. HOWEVER, again, if I had just hoped for a big spread of lots of items like many big casinos have, this isn’t it!

I came here just to eat the Alaskan King Crab Leg Buffet. There was tons of crab legs. Steak was pretty good. They only have King Crab Legs from Thur-Sunday. It’s $ 28.99 with a drink on Thur and Sunday. I gave it 5 stars because it’s the only buffet around with King Crab Legs. The snow crab legs was decent but I ate mostly the King Crab Legs because they are normally $ 24.99 per pounds.

Was excited to have king crab and snow crab for my wife’s birthday weekend but… the kings were very small and overcooked. The snow crab was average. The general selection of the buffet is poor. Half the amount of food the surrounding buffets offer, and the nugget is higher in price also. The staff is great and friendly hence this review getting at least 2 stars. I will not be back for the food. The casino however was decent.

Had to try this place out as I had heard they had the best seafood buffet in town on Sundays. Let’s start by stating this is a buffet and as such you expect hit or miss. This was definitely more hit than miss. They specialize in AYCE snow and dungeness crabs and did they deliver. The meat selections… prime rib… moist n tender, ham… so flavorable. The mac n cheese was like homemade. Fried shrimp, steamed shrimp, cold shrimp, seafood boil… wow. stay away from the fried chicken. No flavor and undercooked. May go again b4 I go home.

Breakfast buffet wasn’t impressive except for the omelette lady, she was so talkative and friendly while she made omelettes to order ! The hostess/seater has been here forever and is also sweet. Food options weren’t impressive and didn’t look appetizing, always seems to take forever for coffee and juice to be brought to table.

I went to the GN breakfast buffet and it was pretty good! They had a good amount of varieties and they also had a made to order omelet station. I love their french toast and sausage patties. I like that they have a good amount of different juices and drinks to order in the morning. I had oj and french vanilla coffee, which was amazing! I recommend trying the breakfast buffet! It’s only $ 9.99 which is awesome.

Do not waste your time staying at this hotel. There is no garantee you get the room you reserved. The front desk does not accommodate you when they know they messed up. We reserved a 2 queen bed with view. And they told us that they ran out. Is this a Seinfeld episode with the rental car? Put us in a one bedroom with no view. Move us to another room with a view the following day with all the outlets in the room not working. Go to the Hard Rock instead. They know how to treat there guests. They also give you what you requested the first time. I had to select a star to post this

If my family, 3 kids between the ages of 2 – 13 enjoyed it then I am a happy camper. They ate their butts off! The boyfriend and I enjoyed it, although we went at the last minute it was kind of rushed. There is better food if you venture out. For becoming new members our food was almost free. We didn’t have to come out that much out of pocket to eat. I would definitely pay full price to eat here again but this time I would come on an empty stomach. The quality was great, service was great, the atmosphere was great… I recommend it if you don’t want to venture out.

THISBUFFETISABOUTQUALITYNOTQUANTITY. One of the best casino buffets if you are coming for seafood. Thursday through Sunday they offer King crab legs(legs with the spikes) and snow crab legs. Both are seasoned well. They also offer hot and cold shrimp, very large and crawfish. They have a small Asian food section and small salad section. The hot bar usually has a crawfish dressing, sweet potato casserole occasionally crawfish pies. They also have carving station with offerings of turkey and other meats. The desert bar is phenomenal. offering bread pudding, canolis and mini eclairs. The thing to know is this is not the biggest buffet compared to others such as the beau and hollywood but the quality is great. I find most people head straight for crab legs when entering a buffet and if this is you then you will be pleasantly surprised. The only drawback is the tables are very close and crammed together but besides that you will enjoy it. Thursday and Sunday its $ 28.99 and Friday and Saturday its $ 29.99.

Not worth the 29.99 even for the crab legs. Food mediocre at best! Would not go again but would go back to Beau Rivage Buffet. No comparison!

My advice is to make a pass. We checked into the casino and decided to get a bite to eat. It was a bad choice. Both my husband and felt sick all night long. Sorry to say will not be trying again. Should have gone Unilocal first

This was just bad, bad, bad! Most of the food was the same pre-packaged, frozen ready to serve fried food that you would find at any of the low quality $ 10 all you can eat chinese buffets in most tourist areas. The drawn butter for the crab legs was some kind of vegetable oil with popcorn butter flavoring powder mixed in — it was just nasty tasting. It is shameful that they charge $ 31 per person and then provide such low quality food. I only found two items that I believe to be made at the restaurant, the rest was frozen assembly line food. I really expected better and will never go back. No steak, just a «display» of some carving meats. When I was able to get someone to come over and serve me meat I was given a small sliver and actually I’m glad because the meat was so tough I wound up not eating it anyways. Don’t waste your money, it’s the worst casino buffet I have ever been to.

We came for the King crab legs on a Friday night. They were a little smaller than normal for us Northeners but just as sweet. We also went to the buffet at the Palace during our week in Ocean Springs. The Palace had more selection, but the Golden Nugget was best in quality. Lots of shrimp and better desserts, including a chocolate fountain. My husband thought the fries chicken was better. I had no room to try it. Gambling was no good at either! But at least the GN made it easier to collect the free start up money.

We went at peak dinner rush on a Friday. The wait went quickly, which was cool because we were HONGRY. We got sat in a table right where you first walk in, which sucks because everyone in line, starving, gets to watch my fat ass turn snow crab into messy memories. They pack so many freakin tables in there, just imagine eight linemen from the Saints jammed into a little rowboat. Yeah, that crowded. You will be bumping peeps as you walk to the buffet unless you take the long way. The buffet is on the smaller side, and yeah, as in the previous review, they stash the king crab away from sight. I never had any, but I saw a lady at a table next to use chowing down on some, so I got up and stalked the buffet again and still didn’t see em. I guess I should have asked but I had a pile of food already on my table I needed to deal with. It’s just an okay buffet, service is good though, but if you wanna be crammed in like sardines and have limited selection on your food, here ya go. I’mma stick with BOOMTOWN.

The buffet was not satisfactory. No steak, small snow crab legs they advertised king crab legs but kept them in a drawer behind the buffet so no one could get them. You had to ask and when I asked they said they were out next time they didn’t know where they were and the only person who did wasn’t there. Finally I had to tell them where they were and to give me some. I don’t go to places that advertise something and then you have to fight with the help to get the item. I highly advise everyone to try one of the tons of other casino buffets that are far superior to this one!
