This is by far«The BEST» Commissary Ive ever been to, to grab some essentials. And is also located next to the Basic Exchange aka The BX… Coming from Northern California, the prices here are phenomenal that beats the civilian world on grocery pricing! I kid you not, its almost a fraction of the cost when shopping here compared to going to Walmart, Target, Winco, FoodMax, you name it… The Commissary is always Priced Lower & Zero tax given! They do offer a store credit card that save you 10% each time you shop, but dont get it! The APR to it, is off the roof! Just use any major credit cards you have that have revolving rewards with lower interest depending on your credit worthy! Anyways, not here to give you financial advice. LOL! But come shop here, FYI! Its only for military personnels only & or military dependents and/or Retirees who can shop here… But civilians are welcome to shop here as well, if you’re with a Military Friend/Family Member/Spouse and they can vouch for you as your wingmen/wingman… But remember to pay your Military Friend/Family Member/Spouse back if that bill is OFFTHEROOF! Happy Shopping! ‘Shop till you drop folks!’ ;) wink wink. Store is open from 0900 – 1900 which translates to 9AM-7PM, Mon-Sun.

Commissary has everything you need. It also has the Asian and European aisle. Great place to shop for all your grocery needs. Prices are great also!

Has everything you need and was clean. Didn’t have the usual deals that I expect from a commissary. Overall, I enjoyed the visits but nothing over the top. Will come back should I ever return to Keesler.

I have shopped at the commissary my entire life this one is hands down one of the nicest I have seen yet and they have a variety of organic and specialty foods which our current commissary in Texas is lacking I enjoyed visiting this base and commissary if you are stationed here enjoy this selection of fresh produce and organic foods while you can

I also enjoy shopping at the Keesler Commissary because of the great selection but to say that the shopping off base is quite limited is misleading. Within a reasonable driving distance – 10 — 20 miles – there are as many grocery stores as there are in any comparably sized urban area. There are three Walmart Super Centers, Rouse’s, Winn Dixie, Tsrget and many other smaller grocery stores. There is also the Seabee base Commissary which doesn’t have as great a selection as Keesler but is adequate for the average person. You might like the area better if you got out and looked around some.

PROS: Big, clean, spacious. Wide variety of product. Lots of organic options than the last time I went. They have everything I need to support my real food lifestyle, from organic sour cream to grass-fed beef, to bones for stock, to various kinds of non-wheat baking flours, to organic produce. Oh, and it’s cheaper than you can get at other local grocery stores. Long story short — I never have to go to Rouses again now! Goodbye miles, hello savings! CONS: Not always the friendliest people there. Sometimes they are downright rude, and inattentive. I’m sorry that it’s an inconvenience for me to buy a pallet of Larabars to fuel my addiction, but the self-check out clearly said«Please wait for assistance» and I’ve been waiting for 5 minutes while you browse Facebook on your phone… while on the job. GG buddy. Also, once there was a self-check out attendant who just about kicked me out of the store because my ID expired … in two days. It was still valid. What gives? BUTWAIT, MOREPROS: Gotta love it though. The AAFES right next door for your not-so-grocery needs, the drive-thru satellite pharmacy, the liquor store and gas station… I can get 90% of my errands knocked out in one small area. So nice.

Keesler Air Force Base HAAAAD to have a nice commissary because grocery shopping off base is quite limited. There’s only a Walmart and a Winn Dixie in Biloxi. Quite sad really… The Walmart is pretty decent though. Anyways, this commissary is pretty great. Paige is correct: when you first enter there is a great selection of plants for you to purchase. There is always a readily available motorized cart which is great if you or someone who are with has limited mobility. There’s a deli and produce right at the front like most grocery stores. They have really great prices on their produce. When I went a few days ago, apples were at $.90 a pound and there was a special on grapes: $ 1.50 per pound. They do have a small selection of tofu and other more natural products, although they didn’t have the silken tofu I needed to make my organic fruit smoothies =(They have an excellent selection of meat and very often have manager’s specials. We got 2 beautiful ribeyes for like $ 6 per pound. Pretty much everything from body soap and face wash to cereal and Lean Cuisines are cheaper than at regular grocery stores. They also have coupons planted all over the store to entice you to buy more in order to save more(i.e. $ 2 off if you buy two boxes of cereal). That’s really great for families of course. One of the worst things about commissary shopping is long lines at check out. Keelser AFB commissary does have self-checkout, which makes small purchases a lot easier. They also have a handicap lane where disabled people have priority. Military members in uniform get to jump any line. However, if you are not a military member in uniform or a disabled person, then you will be waiting in a long line with everyone else. Just bring some patience along and be thankful that you don’t have to go to lame Winn Dixie!

Clean commissary! Prices are always great and there’s always someone smiling to help. One thing they can work on is keeping the shelves stocked. Sometimes there’s empty placards where items should be. Other than that, I love coming here when I can.

Obsessed with the Commissary! I try to do all of my grocery shopping here. I feel bad for the people of Biloxi who aren’t able to shop here, because it is heads and tails above any other grocery store I’ve been to here. Of course, it has its issues(namely not always being well stocked, which is in part due to the military furlough) but it is nearly always cheaper and it has a huge selection of whatever you could want to buy.

I absolutely LOVE this commissary! My husband was stationed out at Gulfport but I always chose this commissary over GPT any day. As soon as you walk in, they have a beautiful, CHEAP selection of plants! Now after living at several different bases, I can tell you that the produce here is the cheapest i’ve seen in a long time! Watermelons, peaches, cherries, strawberries and more… so cheap! Take advantage of it! The produce section at is vast, fresh and their staff is so helpful and will always point you in the right direction of which fruits are best that day. As far as their groceries, they have a very broad selection and JIm says they also have a great international section! f you’re missing something, put in a request and they usually get your items in within a month at military prices :) Also as Jim says they have outstanding case lot/bulk sales and a great discounted section! My favorite thing however, is that they have a huge bluebell section! Who can say no to moolennium crunch?

I’ve always been a fan of the Defence Commissary Agency … but Keesler AFB’s Commissary is one of their better ones. They offer outstanding services and value for money … which is really important during our current economy. They also stock a lot of imported foods that folks got to love when they were stationed overseas. A real plus for me and my family! They are also outstaniding for their annual sales(case lot sales, frozen goods sale, etc.). You can stock up and save even more than usual.

Keesler AFB has the teaching hospital for the Air Force. Therefore, they have a better base. Well AFB are always nicer than the other bases. Everybody knows that. Anyway, I always liked this commissary. They’re always a little cheaper than rest of stores, this one was even cheaper. They sold cigarettes there in the store. I used to pay $ 7 for a carton of Marlboro(this was back in 95). Seeing the prices these days, I’m really glad I quit smoking. Diapers and Formula were about half the price of what you pay in town. That tells you how much you’re being ripped off for canned milk w/vitamins. It’s a nice big store. People were always snotty. I think we have a reoccurring theme going!
