Remlik’s Grille & Oyster Bar

First time here had a blast. Bartenders Chris and Justine are awesome ! What a Beautiful place to spend my Birthday. Food was spectacular! Beef tartare was a wonderful start. Then spicy tuna was delicious with the ahi tuna o so yummy. Then our dinners came out Veal Marsala with mushrooms and spinach O my how wonderfully delicious. Then had a rack ofLamb. Phenomenal overall experience. Highly recommended the place. 5 star plus See you again soon!!!

Excellent as always. I had the arugula salad with chicken, and my friend had the French onion soup and fried oyster sandwich with homemade chips. Soup was great. Those chips are beyond addicting, and I loved the coleslaw, too. Service was iffy this time, but the food is fantastic.

Great atmosphere. Great service. Pork chops were great. Shrimp cocktails were enormous and tasty! Will definitely get back in when in town.

There is an old saying that goes «You can tell how good a restaurant is by its bread.» This place served «garlic knots» that had been sitting out for quite a while judging by their texture. Just BAD. Whatever, I didn’t pay for it, I guess. The salad was very good, the prime rib was soggy, as if it was boiled. Not even the outside edge was crispy. Disappointing, but I didn’t want to detract from my tables experience, so I didn’t say anything. (until now) Dessert was fine, service was fine. The bread and the main meal do not make me want to go back.

Loved the Arugula salad and the grilled mushroom steak — tomato soup was too salty just sayin

Stopped in Saturday night for a drink and bar snacks. Excellent Bloody Mary with shrimp garnish. Very good raw clams. Steak tartare with WAY too much mustard. All mixed together — should serve separately and let diner mix. Tuna poke was underseasoned and not as fresh as raw food needs to be.
Service was prompt and friendly.
Have had excellent meals here but this experience was lacking

So Much better this time, still a bit pricey for the small portions. My food was really good, the fried oysters are excellent. I went while it was pretty slow, and my waiter was very attentive. I will be back.
Side note! No sushi on the menu. Think they changed the menu

I always hear great things about this place from peers and reviews. Just be careful during restaurant week. I am pretty confident I got food poisoning from their meat bolognese sauce last March.

The food is always solid at remliks. It doesn’t change often but you can count on a reliably good meal. We love to sit at the bar for the bar menu. It’s quick and easy. The sushi is also very good but VERy slow slow slow…
And finally you have to try the salted caramel martini… yUM!!!
The desserts are also delicious!

Beautiful establishment. Staff is so pleasant and helpful. The food is fabulous and the prices are par with what you expect for an oyster bar and restaurant. Highly recommend for business meetings or quiet night out! The deck is great and perfect to watch the sunset.

We recently celebrated our daughter’s 30^th birthday there. It was a Friday night and they did everything in their power to help us make it special for her.
Our own private area at the bar for appetizers that were designed around the many dietary restriction some of the guests had. They even helped us surprise her when she entered the restaurant.
They had a private room just off the main dining room for us that we decorated.
The service was impeccable, making sure that they knew what ingredients went into every entrée so individuals could make informed choices. They really went out of their way to make our group feel special.
Their menu was full of great choices and everyone’s meal met expectations and came with excellent compliments.
To top it off, they even made a special birthday cake out of watermelon, and skewered fruit to accommodate those that weren’t able to eat sugar or gluten.

Beautiful historical building. The atmosphere is just stunning. The display of the raw bar is elegant & the abundance of fresh seafood available for enjoyment for all seafood lovers. The staff prepares the best sushi in the area! Made to order, always fresh with tons of flavor. I love the spicy tuna rolls!!! Best I have EVER HAD!
Everyone working is Caring & attentive. The owners are hard working locals who are humble, & genuine to providing excellent service. I feel the team provides class with ease. Remlicks is casual yet upscale dining environment. I highly recommend this restaurant. Prices vary from $ 8 on up with meals that can accommodate any budget. I have been to this restaurant many times, never once have I been disappointed.

By far one of my favorite joints in the Bing! While the locals think it’s a tad pricey, I think it’s more than reasonable. I mean come on! It ain’t the Blind Tiger… and I say that with love because they do have some of the best wings in town;-)
Being new to the area this place reminds me of the places I frequent back home. The staff is FANTASTIC and they have created a Moscow Mule monster out of me! My gals and I have a standing appointment every week and we have more fun and laughs with the bartenders than any other joint in town. Coming from a bigger city I have super high standards for night life and this place is in my top 3 places in the Bing! The only thing I don’t like but this is because I am a wine snob, the house cabs could use a little work. Ménage Trios is not my idea of Cabernet BUT they do have a wine list you can purchase bottles so def something for the wine connoisseurs.
The sushi is delish, and the potato chips are a must to order and nosh on while you are sipping or chugging… whatever, I don’t judge, at the bar.
The building in itself is gorgeous and the back deck has a great view! For you NYC folks, reminds me of looking at a modest version of the meat packing district.
Also for you crazy narcissistic picture takers, Whiskey takes the best pics in town! One shot and it’s Facebook ready!

The food is mediocre in comparison to the steep price but you’re paying moreso for the environment. The environment is reminicent of those nice country clubs that project classiness. Its a great restuarant to take your s/​o to on a special occassion or a date rather than a casual dinner. I ordered the braised shoet ribs amd the meat was tender but it was very similar to a korean dish that similarly slow cooks the short ribs till tender. Comparing remliks version to the familiar korean dish, The only is that the latter is much cheaper.

While out of town… the office I was training, recommended this restaurant! I had a caboose martini which was perfect not too sweet and the 1903 martini which for me was a little strong but both were delicious! I had the tomato Gorgonzola soup which was to die for… I highly recommend it if it’s on the menu when you go… get it! For dinner I had the Remlicks sushi roll and the tuna which was not a roll, but delicious! Service was good, well taken care of! I’d go back.

I prefer Remlik’s over Number 5 for upscale dining in Binghamton. Is that blasphemous? sorry.
Appetizers–
— Crab Cake– extremely tasty and there are actual chunks of fresh crab meat in it.
— Fried Oysters– SO GOOOOOOOOOOD. the presentation is so beautiful, as they place the fried oyster in the oyster shell over rock salt. I could eat 15 of these!
— Crispy shrimp skewers– the sweet chili sauce it comes with is extremely tasty but I have a feeling it’s not homemade.
— Fried Calamari– nothing spectacular. average.
— quesadilla– nothing special. i wouldn’t reorder this.
Entrees–
— Diver sea scallops– really yummy, but after eating 4 of these, I wasn’t full. If you’re going to order this, make sure you order a bunch of apps asw ell.
— Lobster Tail– I split the lobster tail for 2 with a friend of mine. It was singlehandidly, the LARGEST lobster tail i’ve ever had. oh, and it was cooked to perfection! i was extremely impressed by this dish. It comes with 2 sides and a salad also. score.
The service is always great here. Extremely nice.

The service was great and my wine glass was filled. However, the food was hit or miss. The fried calamari was delicious not too oily however the raw oysters was not that fresh. I had the fried oyster sandwhich for my entrée and it was delicious however my boyfriends burger was over cooked.
We will be coming back because the service was great and the atmosphere was nice. Will review the food then.

The atmosphere could be better;
–A bit chilly (it’s winter)
–Staff were nice and tried very hard… just a tad slightly unprofessional (standing around talking with eachother, oddly dressed, random unnecessary interruptions, different waiters at our table)
–Tables could be better quality.
–Table cloths had stains and none were ironed.
–Room spaces are oddly spaced and it echoed a bit.
Overall, I’d come again just for the food, atmosphere… not so much.
