History

Established in 1986.

Steve had torn his own vehicles transmission apart when it failed him when he was 16. He fixed it and

was out tearing the roads up within 3 days. Since then he knew what he wanted to do. He would repair transmissions and beat them up with the mind set that if it breaks, it will break for him and not his customer. He worked for several dealerships prior to opening up his own shop in 1986. When he opened, it was in an old barn turned garage that he could barely afford to rent and only worked after he had spent all day at his 40 hour a week, dealership job. He kept very long hours in those days, but it was worth it when he started having repeat customers. The gratitude that his customers offered was the fuel to his fire! Steve still loves to satisfy his customers and he strives to do so every single day. Auto Tech offers an exceptional repair for a fair price. That is the main reason that We are moving into our 30^th year!
