History

Established in 2005.

The founder had previous experience working in broadcast Television for the Tribune Company in Philadelphia. Leaving Tribune after 9 years of successful work as Art Director; he helped form a new, ambitious production company in West Chester, PA. which produced many commercials on the local, regional, and national level. In 2005 JD Productions was formed with trusted, proven, talented team members and associates from previous productions –and the Tribune television family.

John has always lead a creative life, even in middle school, John was filming stop animation 8 mm shorts to entertain his family and friends. After graduation from Tyler School of Art, BFA, Magna Cum Laude, he went on to work as a broadcast designer for WPHL-​TV Philadelphia eventually becoming Art Director for the Art department. John continued pursuing further challenges by joining Fountainhead Productions in West Chester, PA as it’s creative director– A hands on job that required many hats to be worn including Production Designer, DP, editor, AE/​Motion animator, graphic designer. John moved on to become an independent producer/​editor/​motion graphics animator producing commercials, shorts and corporate videos and events. John has won several Telly awards as an animator and producer as well as an Emmy nomination for Individual Achievement. John has worked for clients such as Temple University, Temple Hospital, Lexis-​Nexis, PBS, HBO, and Prudential Securities. John gives 100% to ev
