Went to Abbott’s today to get some ancient/​medieval coins. I know quite a bit about Byzantine coins, and must say that the prices here are very fair and the people are wonderful. Anyone who says otherwise probably doesn’t know what they are talking about, or the real worth of what they are bringing into the shop. We came in and talked to Fred, who was very helpful and definitely knew his stuff, and was very patient. I will definitely be going back again when I am looking for new coins for my collection!

You couldn’t meet a more knowledgable, professional and helpful staff. I visited several area coin stores (including one on the next block) and did not see the quality of service anywhere. Went to Abbott’s to sell and have some unusual coins appraised. Fred went out of his way to evaluate and contact some possible buyers around the country. Would trust Abbott’s with any coin purchase/​sale.
