History

Established in 1945.

Forbes Distributing started in an upstairs supply room at Forbes Piano Company in 1945. With the growing popularity of radio and eventually television, demand for electronic repair parts and supplies allowed Forbes Distributing to expand and break-​off from Forbes Piano. We have been in the same location on 4^th Avenue South since 1967.

Forbes is family owned and operated and proud to serve the people and businesses of Birmingham and the state of Alabama.
