Between the Licensed Professional Counselor’s (LPC’s) and Nationally Certified Addictions’ Counselor’s (NCAC’s) that represent Resilience Recovery Services, Inc. we facilitate the intervention, placement, and followup with our client base, ensuring that no stone goes unturned and no client is ever denied the opportunity for substance abuse treatment services. With over fifteen (15) years of experience in the intervention, treatment and bio-​psychosocial assessment of individuals with alcohol and other drug (AOD) problems, we are skilled in facilitating the onset of your and/​or your loved one’s rehabilitation, as he or she strives towards reaching their full potential.

By serving as the catalyst between despair and hope, our clinical treatment team facilitate and assist you in recognizing the problems and consequences associated with drug addiction.

Business Owner

With over ten (10) years of professional experience in the treatment of substance dependence and Co-​occurring Disorders, John Burgess has a reputation for going above and beyond consumer needs, in facilitating the long-​lasting behavior changes often necessary for individuals to recover from alcohol and/​or drug dependence.

John is a graduate of Auburn University with a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Studies along with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. He is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Certified Co-​occurring Disorder Professional (CCDP) along with possessing National Certified Addiction Counselor (NCAC) credentials. He has been working in the field of alcohol and drug treatment since 2005; his clinical expertise ranges from Crisis Residential Treatment (with an emphasis on treating individual’s with Co-​occurring Disorder{s} to his present role as an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Clinician with the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
