History

Established in 1978.

Michael Shoemaker started his service business out of his garage. He was working for a pool builder who didn’t offer service and maintenance. Michael saw this as an opportunity and he began offering service to the customers for whom they were building. Some of those same customers remain active to this day.

Many years later Shoemaker Pool Service brought the construction function in house. The goal was to provide the best possible quality in the pools we build, without any focus on churning out a high volume of pools on an annual basis. This remains our focus. We pay a tremendous amount of attention to detail. We believe it is the small things that ensure the swimming pool we leave our customers with is a joy to use and not a constant source of frustration and bitterness.
