Roberts Floral

I had ordered flowers for my niece’s funeral and was very disappointed in what showed up for the amount I had paid. I spoke directly with someone in the shop and expressed how important it was to have something really nice. The arrangement that showed up had a few gerbera daisies but the majority of flowers used were cheap little carnations. Not even big puffy ones! I can see using carnations as fill but not as the dominant flower, especially in an arrangement that cost nearly $ 150!

I woke up this morning to calls from my dad saying my mom got taken to the hospital. I live across the country and never really thought about something like this happening. Who does? So when it did happen, I felt a lot of things. I felt guilty for not being there and nervous because I didn’t know what was happening. Instead of being there with my family, I have been sitting on my bed all day waiting for my dad to call with updates. Finally, he called me with a room number where they’re moving her.
I wanted flowers to be waiting for her when she woke up in her new room, so I texted a nurse friend of mine for suggestions. She told me about Robert’s, which is close to the hospital, so I looked at their website and found the best bouquet, something my mom would love. When I went to check out, however, the website told me I couldn’t have it delivered until tomorrow.
On a whim, I called the shop, just to check on ordering policies and find out what time tomorrow the delivery would be able to be made. A woman called Vicky answered and she was so kind and helpful that I felt good for the first time all day. She was patient and went to look for the exact bouquet I wanted, telling me that she would be sure it got to the hospital today. She patiently took down my dictation for the card’s message, even taking the time to put a «less-​then-​three» (sideways heart) symbol, which is something my mom loves.
Vicky and Robert’s Floral took the worst day ever and helped me out from across the country, making me feel, for the first time all day, a little less powerless. I am waiting for my mom to get the flowers now but I know she will love them. Thank you so much, Robert’s Floral. Thank you.

TERRIBLE! I am so embarrassed by the flowers Roberts Floral sent to my grandmother’s funeral! Just completely disgraceful! Nothing even close to what was pictured online.
When I called for an explanation, the first thing the lady asked was «how did u see the flowers?» I can only assume from her question that they were thinking since I was from out of state, they could do a cheap, rip off job and I would never know! Skip this floral shop, I’d imagine there are plenty of other reputable floral shops in the area that would appreciate the business!
