M & M Tire & Auto Service

For years my family has been going to M&M Tire and Auto Service on Prices Fork Road for tires and for miscellaneous repairs. Over the last 15 years or so we have spent thousands of dollars on tires and repairs at M&M on Prices Fork Road, and they have been part of the team that has kept our cars running at 200,000 to 300,000 miles and up to 25 years! Their tire prices have always been competitive. I do not think it is only because we are «regulars» that they will do a quick inspection of a problem and then do a quick preventative tweak at no charge. The other day I drove in at the start of the day and they put my car up on the lift because the night before a piece of the heat shield on my exhaust system fell off and I wanted to be sure it did not bounce off the pavement and do any damage under the vehicle at 65 mph. No damage was found. While under the vehicle the mechanic, at my request, quickly checked for other issues and replaced a screw so another piece would stay attached a bit longer. He found a couple of age-​related issues and told me to watch them, but did not tell me that I needed to spend a fortune immediately, even though he knew I would, if he advised me to get something fixed quickly. By the way, they have started putting Nitrogen in our tires and we have not had to add air for years because they do not seem to go down! Since our tires stay inflated, they, likely, wear better and longer.
