we r a local family owned business, we started Sandy’s in 2003 – 2004 as a part time summer hobby scooping ice cream soon it became our full time jobs we love it thanks to the positive respond from our loved customers.

We had family night at Village Haven so we were looking for a place to get ice cream afterwards so we decided to give this place a try. It wasn’t very busy but being so small it felt cramped and the service was very slow but my wife enjoyed her mint chocolate chip cone. I wasn’t overly impressed with my lemon Italian ice but again being from RI Del’s sets the bar very high.
One last thing that was a real turnoff was that the trash bin was stuffed beyond capacity and looked like it hadn’t been emptied for days. Luckily we found a spot to dispose our trash atop some other cups that were dripping and sitting on top of the container. Not sure if we’ll be back here again anytime soon.

I live very close to this and very much enjoy the idea of having a nice ice cream spot to bring my son. Unfortunately Sandy’s is not the place.
They employee the dumbest high school kids I’ve encountered in a long time. If these kids are a glimpse into our future; we are in big trouble.
Regardless of what I order it takes forever and is a different price. I wish I was joking.
The soft serve ice cream is WAY under temp… it comes out like pudding and melts away like it is it’s job.
This is a plea to the owners… tighten up your ship!!!

When you are driving through Blackstone and see this place it can be deceiving but do not be confused this place is amazing especially for the soft serve. They have over 24 different flavors and they are blended with a rich creamy soft serve base. Sometimes you get that low quality soft serve that is more ice than cream in it but not at Sandy’s!
They also have hard serve, frappes, sundaes, and a few grill items (I do not know where they cook it the place isn’t that big.) On top of this they are a great value, very inexpensive for the size you get. If you are looking for a good place to grab ice cream in the greater Woonsocket area adventure of the line and give Sandy’s a try!

Their servings are enormous! Before ordering, I asked how big the small and kiddy size were. I was told the small was 1 scoop and kiddy size was half a scoop so I ordered the small. I received at least an entire pint of ice cream. NO COMPLAINTS HERE!
