Today’s Salon & Spa

I went with a Living Social for an hour-​long ‘spa’ pedicure with Felicia. I am a painter and love painting my own nails, so I really only go for pedicures with groupons and so on for the massages and foot soak. Felicia is, hands down, THE BEST foot massager I have ever experienced. Her massage is literally heaven. I dream about these massages!
While I am a snob and feel that I will always do the best paint-​job for my toes, Felicia is an awesome pedicurist. If you want an awesome foot rub, go to Felicia.

I came in with a coupon for haircut and blowout with free highlights. The owner worked on me. He would barely let me get a word in. Just kept blabbing about how his salon has been there for 30 years and how he’s into the hip and cool styles today. That already was making me uncomfortable. Once he finally finished with my hair, I wanted to cry. Too bad I can’t put up a picture. The highlights looked terrible, the haircut was beyond uneven. My friend was a hairdresser for 7 years. She told me he should lose his license. This man destroyed my hair. I’ve had to get so much work done to fix it. Thank god he didn’t make me pay. This place was seriously a terror!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE! I am a female and had Anthony the owner cutting my hair was a lil nervous having a man do my hair but the out come is perfect! Everyone is so friendly. Anthony gave me tips on how to style my hair. It was a drastic cut for me. My hair was down to my butt and I went as short as above my shoulders. Never went this short b4 but needed/​wanted a change. I showed Anthony a picture of what I wanted and he was on point with it! Decided to get a full face wax as well. The girl that did it was friendly and gentle. As gentle as one can be as they are ripping hot wax and hair off your face that is lol. It’s def the best kept secret on the block. They do EVERYTHING there. Cut, style, waxing, nails, tanning, sell products, jewelry. If you are looking for an awesome experience with awesome results def chose Today’s Salon & Spa!

I had purchased the living social voucher for the chocolate bliss pedi from here for $ 20 which is a steal!!! You walk in and the hair salon is to the right and all the spa services is downstairs. The lady at the desk was very friendly and told me to go straight downstairs for my pedi. The lady started my pedi 15 min late because she was already with a customer but was nice enough to let me soak my feet while I waited. The pedicure was AWESOME ! Sarah was do kind, I will definitely be coming back.

Good deal. So I came here on a LivingSocial and was pretty happy with my experience. I got the Chocolate Bliss Pedicure, and it was well worth it.
I do want to note that there is construction all over the place right now, and it’s confusing to get to. Little Gloucester i blocked one way, so you have to go into the shopping center and come back out!
With that said… I was late 20 minutes to my appointment, and they ended up fulfilling my appointment as if I wasn’t! (They stayed open til about 20 after closing… I made the last possible appointment).
I started off in the hot water bath soak, followed by a complete scrub down all the way to my knees with the chocolate scrub (smelled good!). It definitely exfoliated the skin. Then that was washed off, and I got toenail treatment – some oils, cuticle fixing. Then I got an oil and a lotion with a gentle massage all over my legs. That was really relaxing. And finally she painted my toenails my color of choice, top-​coated it, and spritzed with a fast drying protecting, lubricating oil. :)
Although I do want to note that I asked, and my pedicurist said she didn’t like to use base coat. I wish she would’ve…that’s how I keep my toenails from yellowing… I would know, having worked for a beauty supply store and painting my nails almost daily and caring for my nails for about 20 years now…
Overall, good price, good service, relaxing environment.
