You know one of those days where we have a glimpse of good weather so we decide to go get frozen yoghurt and eat it in our heated cars? Yeah today was that day! If you haven’t been to a self-serve yoghurt place, let me tell you what to expect. You walk in, grab sample cups(ketchup cups at most fast food places) that are by the register. You walk and sample all the yoghurt flavors that you can stand. You then grab a 16 oz or 20 oz cup and fill it with your choice(s) and topping(s). Get it weighed and pay for it. Enjoy it to go or sit in the colorful area. Grab lots of napkins

I fell onto the build-your-own fro-yo trend about three years after its peak, so I know there are lots of places to choose from and Cherry Berry is the only one I have been to. The bases at Cherry Berry are solid — my favorite is the salted caramel. I agree, though, that this location doesn’t tend to change its flavors too often. Also, I find the fruit bases very sweet in their artificial sugar flavoring, so the best bases are the savory ones. They have lots of toppings, too, which is the point of the whole thing. My only complaint? This particular location could use some more nut options. I have been to other Cherry Berry locations that have more chopped nut options and this one only seems to carry whole peanuts and cashews, along with trail mix(but honestly, I CANNOT get on board with having granola on my ice cream). I know this is picky, but how about some peanuts or walnuts or some other options? Especially ones that are more finely chopped. Again, for the savory ice cream fan, the location leaves a little to be deserved.

Pretty good yogurt. Flavors don’t seem to change that often though. But they have a ton of mixings and fruits. Can be a little spendy if you pile it on, but otherwise it is really a great place! Give it a try!
