History

Established in 2013.

Pax Gallery began with a desire to represent great artists from Congo. By bringing great Congolese art to the US we want to provide truly unique art and change the lives of the artists and their communities. That desire became reality in 2013 with a trip to Congo to meet artists, acquire their works, and establish the gallery.

In 2005 I visited Congo, the country where I was born. While there I spent some time at the art market in the capital city of Kinshasa. I was amazed by the talent on display, and from that moment knew I wanted to give these artists a venue to distribute their art internationally. It took several years to move from dream, to ideas, to plans, to action, and finally reality. I’m pleased to represent some great artists and hope you appreciate their talent and the beauty of their work as much as I do.
