We offer rustic & luxury cabin rentals, an onsite Spa for massages and body treatments and an onsite vineyard and farm winery with tasting room. We specialize in small-​medium weddings with 2 outdoor ceremony sites and other group activities.

History

Established in 2002.

With a mission to provide guests with a place to relax and escape the rigors of everyday life, Bob and Ilke began with just a few cabin rentals… expanding over the years to include the construction of the lodge and spa in the center of the property. Most recently, Paradise Hills has planted grape vines and begun production of their wines. The tasting room opened in the Lodge in 2013. The resort is a wonderful option for small-​medium weddings with 2 separate ceremony sites, a wine patio and tasting room for small gatherings.

Business Owner

The resort is hosted by Robert and Ilke Lander who are dedicated to quality service. Originally from Northern Maine and Ghent, Belgium, the Lander family transplanted to Blairsville in 2002. Living onsite with their 3 children, the Lander family offer a small Inn-​type personalized experience combined with the privacy and amenities associated with a mountain cabin rental.

Truly a unique experience in the North Georgia Mountains.

After 12 years hosting the resort, Robert and Ilke created an idealic location for a destination wedding. From 2 — 100 guests, they offer a memorable, unique option for brides & grooms and their guests to enjoy.

To compliment the cabins, lodge, resort Spa and beautiful property, Paradise Hills now offers a destination Vineyard Wedding venue that is affordable for all. Guaranteed to provide the same levels of service as expensive alternatives, they offer the highest levels of personalized service.

I didn’t get to stay here because of a last minute cancellation due to a death in the family. They were kind enough to release my reservation and allow me to re-​book. However, after allowing a year to pass (my fault). I was no longer allowed to re-​book. They were very forward and articulate in explaining their rules, and why I did not have the option to re-​book.
But, were not willing to budge even when I had offered to fill a last minute vacancy and spend hundreds of dollars at the spa and winery. I was trying to make them an offer where everyone would come out ahead, they would make money off me, and I would still get to stay there. But, they could not be swayed.
Anyways, I am sure it is a great place, As an owner of multiple small business owners I would only advise them to be willing to bend the rules, especially when there is more money to be made! I probably would have been a repeat customer

Love this place! Cabins are cute and cozy, the owners are super sweet and the wine tasting was so good. All in house made wines. It’s in BFE, but it’s beautiful and worth it.

Accommodations and staff were great. Look forward to going back when it is warmer. The winery and spa was very nice and down to earth. Very personable and willing to do almost anything to make sure you have a great time. We recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy time away from the rush of big city.

Awesome experience! I took my girlfriend here a few months back and we had a wonderful time. We’ve stayed at several cabin business before and this one was near the top if not the best. The cabin felt well built, had a modern touch while maintaining a rustic charm. The cabin as well as the lodge were very clean and well maintained, it definitely showed the care and dedication from the owners. The owners were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. They brought us extra linens almost immediately after requesting. Their children were absolutely delightful and fun to chat with :) We definitely felt at home and are excited to hopefully return one day. Highly recommended and don’t forget to try the wine, starry night was my favorite, I bought a bottle to-​go!

There are no words to explain what an AMAZING time I had at Paradise Hills. My boyfriend and I arrived late at night after a long day of driving only to have our cabins lights on and heat on for a warm arrival. It was so warm and welcoming and ended a long day of driving on a positive note. Our cabin had all the necessities and was clean. The cabins were rustic and cute and professionally taken care of. It definitely felt like a home away from home. After many different stays at all types of bed and breakfast places, this one takes the cake. Not only were the cabins great, but the on-​site spa and vineyard made it better. My boyfriend really enjoyed the sauna and a massage by the owner, Ilke Lander. I definitely enjoyed the wine tastings steps from my cabin. The area itself was great too. We took two hikes, one around Vogel state park and then raven cliff falls. Overall, our stay was great and Paradise Hills is the best kept secret in the Georgia Mountains. I will definitely be coming again and highly recommend others to try it out.

I would love to give them a 5, on the getaway it self we had a fabulous time. Shopping and Restaurants were in a reasonable distance. The massage we received was top notch. My other stars goes towards my aftermath of bed bug bites. My first experience with bed bugs and pray thru my travels I will never have to again. Three days later, my items have not made it back in my home.
The staff was very apologetic and stepped up, even though the first night we had some suspicion which was brought to their attention.
Would I ever visit there again, probably not for the latter reason only.
Just sad because this was a wonderful getaway.

What an amazing getaway! Owners were fantastic hosts and the cabins and lodge we wonderful! Top notch spa treatments too! Highly recommended as the place to stay in Blairsville. Close to everything but away from it all!
