History

Established in 2001.

Previously the loved local spot, The Sportsmen, the inn had fallen into disrepair. A local family came in and revived and reinvented the run down tavern as the casually elegant Blakeslee Inn.

Meet the Manager

Chef Chris Mullin.

Manager

Having recently celebrated 10 year’s with the Blakeslee Inn, Chris Mullin has lead the Blakeslee Inn culinary team as Executive Chef for 4 years. During this time, The Blakeslee Inn’s cuisine has garnered many new fans throughout the Poconos and far beyond. Chef Mullin’s award winning dishes delight foodies with distinctive flavor profiles that dance on the palate.

A graduate of Pennsylvania Culinary Institute (Pittsburgh PA) in spring 2003 with a degree in Culinary Arts (Le Cordon Bleu), Chef Mullin honed his skills at Pompeii and Caesar of Mohegan Sun. While at this prestigious establishment, he learned an array of techniques and a fusion of styles including Italian and Asian to compliment his Classic French culinary background before joining The Blakeslee Inn team.

As Executive Chef, Chris Mullin takes extreme personal pride in every dish that leaves his kitchen with meticulous detail.
