History

Established in 1960.

From a one doctor office, limited to endodontics, in the Royal Oak– Birmingham, Michigan area in 1960, Endodontic Associates has grown to the largest endodontic group practice in the world.

It has ten offices, located in three suburban counties in the Metropolitan Detroit area.

This growth was accomplished one doctor at a time, one patient at a time and one office at a time.

Over all those years, growth and development has been continuous in response to patient satisfaction and our Doctors’ commitment to provide «Performance beyond all expectations.»

Dr. Gerald C. Dietz, Jr. grew up in theBloomfield Hills /​Birmingham area. He attended Western Michigan University for his pre-​doctoral studies and received his dental degree from the University of Michigan in 1984. He completed his post-​graduate endodontic training at the University of Detroit Dental School in 1986. He began limited practice with Endodontic Associates immediately following graduation. Dr. Dietz taught pre-​clinical endodontics at the University of Detroit Dental School for several years and continues to lecture at University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Dietz also served as a member of the University of Michigan Alumni Society, Board of Governors. He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists which is comprised of dentists who have demonstrated leadership and exceptional contributions to dentistry. He has continuously maintained membership in the American, Michigan and Oakland County Dental Associations. He is also a member of the American Association of Endodontists and
