Tax Law

Our tax law related services include preparing federal and state tax returns, resolving tax controversies, and assisting with other IRS and Michigan tax related matters. We assist clients in resolving taxes owed to the Internal Revenue Service and/​or Michigan Department of Revenue. We assist taxpayers who owe past-​due balances in evaluating their options, establishing installment agreements and filing offers in compromise when appropriate.

Litigation

Our firm is here to assist clients in evaluating their options concerning business disputes, breaches of contract, estate disputes and collection-​related matters. If someone owes you money, or if you are threatened with or concerned about a lawsuit, we can help!

Business Owner

Robert Anthony Piraino (Bob) grew up in a small town along the Connecticut coastline, leaving to pursue his ambitions shortly after graduating from high school. Graduating #1 in Wayne State University’s School of Business class of 1973, Bob began working for the IRS as a Revenue Agent in January, 1974. While working full time as an IRS Revenue Agent during the day, Bob took classes at night at Wayne State’s Law School. Ever since graduating in December 1978, Bob has been in private practice.

Robert Alex Piraino (Bobby) grew up working with his father and at five-​years-​old, after realizing how his father was respected for helping protect people, knew he wanted to be an attorney. From clerking throughout law school and working for one year in the Law School Estate Planning Clinic, Bobby has developed a unique hands-​on style of client engagement, involving his clients as partners in all aspects of decision making, which has made him an invaluable addition to Robert Piraino & Associates.
