3.5 I was eager to purchase some flowers and house plants for my apartment one day and remembered that Brookside Garden Center was on the way home. I wasn’t really expecting much since I haven’t been, nor had anyone recommended this place specifically. As did a quick walk-through of their storefront, I had noticed that a lot of the items for sale were potted flower arrangements, hanging plants, and varietal cell trays for massive garden projects. I on the other hand, was more set on indoor plants and fresh cut flowers. Indeed the part about«Garden» in their name was surely appropriate. Despite the fact that I was rather disappointed at the selection, I was still determined to find something to bring home. The prices were fair and inventory was well kept. The flowers pedals weren’t broken or crinkled or torn and the soil in the pot was moist. I had bought a small pot of purple Hyacinths, approximately three bulbs for $ 7.99. If there was anything that I had wished at the time I had purchased my flowers, it would have been flowers that were partially in bloom. Everything on the shelf was in full bloom. I personally like to enjoy the opening and unraveling of most of the flowers while they’re in my possession. TIP: Aithough it was something that i wasn’t really interested in, they do «gift wrap» the pots with colored foil lining, bows, and holiday plant stakes.
