I hired Ms. Savoy after specifically looking for a black, female attorney.
That was the beginning of my nightmare. She refused to provide me with a retainer agreement after I asked her for one from day one. I gave her $ 2000 retainer and had no document to show what was to received for my money.
When I insisted, she became belligerent and accused ME of being unreasonable. She wrote a legal document with that was illiterate. I finally had to fire her and file a complaint, for which the response was, even if she did what I said, it didn’t amount to misconduct. Lawyers are awful people.
At that point she wrote me an email saying «You tried.». I was flabbergasted.
Find someone else.
