1÷31÷16 first time here with a gift card I had received some five years ago. Very pleasant experience! The facility was clean and very calming. I would definitely recommend a spa visit :)

I have a love hate relationship with this place. My boyfriend treated me to a spa day for my birthday and I knew he had spent like $ 250 on it so I was super thankful. The massage itself was amazing, I could feel the knots and my body loosen up. After the amazing massage I was not aware that we had to tip $ 60-​$ 80. The lady said that their tip is around that amount I felt incredible guilty to tip anything lower than $ 40. Since it was my bday we were going to an expensive dinner afterwards so I was in a bit of a dilemma. There is no parking lot and I would deff recommend it if you are willing to spend that amount of money. I am assuming that someone’s tip is the masseuses pay for the most part.

Wonderful place! Staff is friendly, atmosphere is clean and tranquil. Booked a 60 minute Swedish massage. Masseuse Chrismery was perfect; firm pressure but not to an uncomfortable level. Kept it quiet, which I really appreciated. The initial foot soak and tea are excellent personal touches. Worth every penny!

Difficult parking to begin with-​be prepared to carry change. My masseuse did not seem to enjoy her work. The room and her hands were cold. The technique she used was «confused». Just giving a bowl filled with water and rose petals upon arrival is not enough-​its the quality of the actual massage that matters. They should realize that they have tremendous competition in the vicinity and should try their level best to deliver what they «charge» for. I am not returning.

I had a very enjoyable experience at Flic Spa. The Flic Signature massage was very, including a mix of massage techniques and stretches. A complimentary rose petal foot soak is included in addition to the 60 minute massage. I felt that 60 minutes was the perfect amount of time for the massage, much better than the 50 minute massages most spas offer. I will definitely return in the future.

What a surprise in the middle of Bloomfield NJ! In fact I enjoyed it over some of the best spas in NYC!

Just left the most amazing 2+ hour spa experience of my life! My husband surprised me with the Mother’s Day package and it was incredible! It started with a foot soak then long massage and then ended with a facial. I have never felt so relaxed and calm. The place has a Hawaii theme /​vibe going on and I loved it. The best part to me was how large the room was and you «relaxed» with the foot soak alone in your room as opposed to a communal area at other places. I would highly recommend a package here!!!

Tried booking a couples massage after leaving a message and then sending an email. So much for my anniversary and birthday celebration :(the reviews look awesome so I was expecting a little more of a response– perhaps contacting me to tell me that you are booked but can try a different day?

Flic Spa is divine. My husband and I went here for a couples massage. We had a beautiful, quiet room and the massage starts with a foot bath, warm tea or water, and a run down of what you want/​are comfortable with. I will definitely be returning. –1 star because tips need to to be in cash, though not a real inconvenience. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I celebrated our two year anniversary here and chose the Couples Suite Royalty package. It was certainly the most I’ve ever spent at a spa to date ($ 500 + tip) but enjoyed ourselves. However there is definite room for improvement. The atmosphere in the lobby/​waiting area is a little like a doctors office, but is decorated very beautifully.
Once we were brought into our room, we were given robes, flip flops, and a glass of champagne with chocolates. The décor is one of the best parts. I loved the fabric draped from the ceiling, low lighting, and exotic décor-​it really makes you feel like you’re somewhere in the pacific. Our therapists returned with the huge copper bowls of warm water with bubbles, rose petals, and a floating candle. We were left to sit and relax while our feet soaked for about ten minutes before they returned for our foot massage. This was supposed to be 30 minutes of foot reflexology and while it was relaxing, you’re sitting on a wooden bench and the massage seemed like a pedicure rather than reflexology.
The hour and a half massage came next and was very enjoyable. Both my husband and I felt our therapists did a great job with this aspect of the treatment. Not much to say. We’ve had a lot of massages and this one was great!
The thirty minute facial was last and the part I enjoyed least. It was not very relaxing and I wished it had been before the massage so that we were left in a more relaxed state. They steam your face and rub it with all different types of creams/​scrubs/​etc. Then wrap your face in a hot towel and leave the room in between each portion of the treatment. I found the constant in and out of the room to be very distracting.
The atmosphere and the therapists themselves are definitely a large part of the draw. Both of our therapists were very nice and very attentive! Overall, I definitely think we would come back, but probably just for a couples massage as the other two treatments didn’t seem worth the money.

I’ve been here three times within the past 5 years or so and each time I go it gets better and better. My boyfriend bought me a package here for a 2 hour treatment. I think I was in heaven for two hours today. I did not want to leave and go back to the real world. I also got a facial and got a couple of compliments on my glowing skin. Thank you so much Flic Spa! You can’t find this type of quality care any where else!

In my former career as a corporate event planner, I traveled all over the country and got to experience some of the most amazing spas in the country.
Never, in my wildest imagination, would I have believed that the massages in the little spa on Broad Street Bloomfield New Jersey could beat them all!
The treatments are deeply relaxing as are the treatment rooms which truly transport you to the Pacific islands. I’m not sure how they do it but they do. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Excellent spa! My sister, mother and I went for a ladies’ spa day together, and had a wonderful time. We had Chris Marie, Larek and a third woman whose name I did not catch, and all gave spectacular massages! We opted for Swedish massages, and I had previously purchased a gift card for my mother. Everything went smoothly, from gift card buying to booking, to massage.
It was a very relaxing experience! The ambience is soothing, and they start with a foot soak – very nice! Chris Marie was professional, courteous and very skilled.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious day for a reasonable price. I will return as soon as I can!

What an amazing experience. Flic Spa knows how to set the mood. once you enter your private room, you will totally forget you are still in New Jersey. My husband and I truly enjoyed our treatments. They have the most amazing therapists. Will definitely be back SOON!!!

I finally treated myself to a full body massage and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! Flic Spa is the ultimate experience at a reasonable price! NICOLE IS EXCELLENT!!!
I would truly recommend the Bloomfield, NJ location to anyone. The ambiance was so relaxing and personable. The foot soak was AWESOME and the Hawaiian Lomi Lomi was GREAT! If I could have tipped Nicole $ 100, I would have!

Beautiful foot baths and aesthetic appeal but massage therapist wouldn’t stop talking to me during the massage which made it far from relaxing and massage was mediocre.

I treated my mother to an early Mother’s Day spa treatment at Flic Spa. We both had an incredible experience here.
You can find the same caliber of expertise at Flic Spa comparable to the spas overseas without the travel. I’ve been to a dozen spas in the U.S. and this one is by far the best.
The owner is very personable. Since, I was going to shell out a ton of money here I was a bit of a «diva» making requests to come in earlier, utilizing the sauna, having a female masseuse (my masseuse from another spa was male and was nervous resulting to not doing his job right) The owner, Lyric, on the other end of the phone line was very patient and accomodating, thus, granting every request.
The interior design has East Asian influence making the customer tranquil as you walk in the establishment. Flic Spa is clean, inviting. I felt like a Queen with my services– the invigorating sauna, a foot spa with flower petals floating on bubbly bath in a copper bowl, and the 60 minute Swedish massage.
Other spas take note, Flic Spa is the quintessential spa.

I’m going to have to add my own glowing review of this place. I visited the Bloomfield location. This place is AMAZING! I treat myself to massages a few times a year. Often when I travel, maybe once a year at a day spa at home. I was participating in a girls’ weekend and we decided to treat ourselves to a massage. It was the highlight of the weekend! Priscilla was my therapist and she gave me the best massage I ever had.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting and very calming. The pre-​massage relaxation time and foot soak is very indulgent. I feel like I’m living the lifestyle of the rich and famous when I’m there. The low lighting and soft, relaxing music in the treatment room is just perfect.
The only reason I’m not giving this place 5 stars is because during the massage, the treatment room was freezing! The A/​C was blowing full blast and the vent was directly above my scantily clad body. I asked Priscilla if they could lower it a bit, but it never got any better. The coldness distracted me from the wonderfully relaxing feeling of the massage.
I’m so glad I found this place. I think I’m going to start going a bit more often. I will probably try the Cranford location next time as it’s closer to my house, but I don’t know if I want to give up Priscilla! You won’t be sorry if you go to Flic Spa!
