Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center

If you have an event in the tent, then you will find out quickly that the sounds of the traffic from the Garden State Parkway echo inside of the tent. That’s a huge turn-​off, especially if you’re having a ceremony, reciting a speech, or even trying to talk to someone across the table from you.
The sound really drowns out most conversations. However, the cultural center and the grounds are very nice. The floors creak because the house is over a hundred years old, which I like, that’s just plain old charm.
Not sure where people would park during an event since the parking lot only has about 20 or so spots. And if you do have an event here, there is a catering service that offers everything from linens to liquor.
It’s just a little loud…
