Sabella-Mills Voice Studios specializes in training voices in musical theater and contemporary commercial music. The studio offers both adult /professional (15+) and junior division (6 – 14) classes.
Mr. Sabella-Mills is the President of the New York Singing Teachers Association. He is also a member in good standing of the Voice Foundation and the National Association of teachers of Singing. He is also considered a pioneer in online voice lesson delivery, and was recently featured in Crain’s NY Business as an online entrepreneur in professional voice instruction.

Sabella-Mills Voice Studios has a long history of helping professional and per-professional performers in the pursuit of their artistic goals. Having maintained an active studio in NYC, NY for many years, SMS has recently opened up a New Jersey location in Bloomfield.
David Sabella-Mills is the primary studio teacher and is assisted by several associate teachers in the fields of voice, and acting. All associate teachers are hand picked and or trained by Mr. Sabella-Mills personally. Associate teacher hours vary from that of Mr. Sabella-Mills. Nationally recognized as a Master Teacher in Musical Theater and Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Techniques, Mr. Sabella-Mills has served on several university faculties including NYU, Tisch School of the Arts, CAP21 Studio; The New School University’s Mannes College Prep. Division; and the State University of New York, College at Purchase and College at Newpaltz. He has been a guest teacher at Ann Reinking’s Broadway Theater Project in Tampa, Florida, and has conducted vocal master-classes, Teacher Trainings and musical theater workshops at Las Vegas University, California State University (@ Fullerton), Ithaca College and LA Valley College.
Mr. Sabella-Mills is currently the President of NYSTA (The New York Singing Teachers’ Association), and a member of The National Association of Teachers of Singing and The Voice Foundation.
