History

Established in 2016.

The heritage and property have been in the Bloomfield Community since 1867, but it wasn’t until the 1990’s that the historical register and landmark home opened as a bed and breakfast. New owners and hosts now open to serve from May Through December annually.

Jake and Raquel moved to Bloomfield, IA from the Phoenix, AZ area to purchase the Weaver House Inn B&B. For Jake, this is a home coming after retiring from the Phoenix Police Department. Raquel fell in love with the area when she came for a visit in 2012 and it fit so well with her background in the hospitality industry. When this opportunity came we jumped on it. We absolutely love this home and will continue to make it available to those who are interested in its historical significance (It’s a National Landmark) or for those who are interested in staying a day or two at the B&B. We promise a tranquil stay with excellent food in the morning.
