One of the things I really appreciate about Dr. Mortell is that he can make a crown during the same appointment he is fixing my tooth — what a time saver. Although Dr. Mortell is not an outgoing conversationalist, he knows his stuff. The office runs on time which I really appreciate. The only issue I have is with the administrative staff; they tend to be quick and unfriendly, bordering on rude at times. Good thing they aren’t the reason I choose Dr. Mortell, but the patient experience would improve if these people were more congenial, kind and people-​focused.

I love my dentist. That is right. I said it, I love my dentist. Both he and the hygienists there do a decent job of making it a tolerable experience. After all, no one REALLY enjoys a dental experience absent those who view pain as pleasure.
I typically have my teeth cleaned every 3 – 4 months so I frequent this place quite a bit. I have had several different hygienists but they are all very nice and they seem to really enjoy their work and care about you as a patient.
Their great service is also evidenced by the challenge with scheduling an appointment. When I attempted to schedule my very first appointment, there was a six month wait. But after going, I can see why. You are seen on time and typically a cleaning takes less than an hour. Their efficiency has allowed me to make appointments during my lunch hour. I highly recommend Dr. Mortell and think you should see for yourself.
