I love Sid’s because they always have great prices and the right amount of staff on hand for a speedy checkout! It’s truly is a neighborhood gem :) There’s ample parking, a large selection so you can count on finding what you came for.

The store is well stocked and organized plus they had incredible prices on Prairie vodka/gin and Jameson. Friendly staff left me smiling as I walked out with my goods.

I don’t go here for the stellar service or modern décor. I go to buy cases of wine at ridiculously cheap prices. One time I was in Sid’s and the girl at the register looked at me like I was crazy for requesting multiple cases of different wines. It didn’t appear to be a regular occurrence. There is some interesting clientele here but I go in, buy my bottles and get the heck out of dodge.

When I used to live in the NW burbs I used to love Big Top. Then I moved back to St. Paul near the midway and, again Big Top. Then I lived in the NE and SE burbs and got used to the mom and pop/MGM… Then I moved to east Bloomington and there’s Sid’s, which is owned by… Big Top! Sid’s has the best of both worlds when it comes to larger liquor stores. They have a great selection, and they have great prices. On the other hand, Sid’s is about ½ of the size of a regular Big Top store so I feel like things are arranged in a more user friendly way. Booze on the outside aisles, wine and craft beer in the middle, and a good selection of beer in the cooler. And I’m going to take a cue from one of the other reviewers and say that one of the girls that works there is really cute.

Very nice liquor store with great selection and prices. It is so nice to be able to shop at a privately-run liquor store with great prices instead of those over-priced Municipal stores in Richfield and Edina.

We ended up at this liquor store due to some malfunctioning coolers at one of the mega-liquor stores in the area. Lucky break for us. It was surprisingly well-stocked for a suburban liquor store of its size. We were in the market for cold beer for a family function in the area and we were thrilled by all of the refrigerated selections. The domestics were of course well represented but they also had a large selection of craft and micro-brews. As a non-beer drinker myself I was pleasantly surprised by their Cider selections. If you’re in the market for some adult beverages screw the big guys and give Sid’s Discount Liquors a shot.

Apart from Sam’s Club Liquor, Sids has the cheapest prices compared to any other liquor store in the south metro. They also keep all of the rebates at the front door a long with what they have on sale. Just to give an example of how low their prices are; you can pick up 750ml of 1800 for 19.99 at other stores they are selling it for $ 30+! Service is of what it would be like at any other store; you only need them when you check out.

Thank you Sid’s, you’re the«go-to» stop for my favorite wines. And I appreciate your sales as well. Mondavi, Kendall Jackson and I can always find a good Argentinian malbec too! Friendly check out clerks are much appreciated.
