Bloomington Garden Center is a Great family owned and operated garden store, with an impressive history.
Look around for Lots of fun and funky ideas for planting your flowers and vegetables and embellishing your gardens.
Barb is always very knowledgeable and helpful.
They also have an awesome landscaping team if you don’t want to do it all yourself.

Such a cool place, and since it’s right by a wildlife refuge you wouldn’t even know you’re so close to the city. Great setting if you or someone you’d be shopping with is a nature lover. It’s in a river valley which is also really unique, this is the most uniquely situated garden center I know of in the Twin Cities area. It also appears to be a home based business.
If you wan’t a change from the big box places this is an excellent choice. It’s a good, medium size place and they’ve got greenhouses and an outdoor area for shrubs and trees. Besides the experience, and quality of everything, this is a good place to call if having difficulty locating a certain kind of plant, tree, or shrub as sometimes they’ll carry things that are not available elsewhere.
