Over the years, Cornerstone has helped airlines, travel-​management companies and corporate travel departments dramatically improve the management of travel costs through technology-​based solutions.

Cornerstone was founded by Mat Orrego primarily providing technology for the Apollo global distribution system. In 1993 developed and marketed the first Windows-​based quality control system for Apollo. in 1999 acquired New Media Solutions and introduced iBank, the first fully web-​based data consolidation and reporting solution. In 2000 acquired Automated Travel Systems and expanded technology solutions. In 2005 introduced iQCX as fully hosted solution for reservation management. In 2007 launched iBank Analytics. In 2008 released Policy Compliance Manager, a web based application that enables the travel manager to control travel spend prior to the money being spent. In 2013 launched Runup Labs, a new travel technology accelerator.

Manager

Josh is a travel industry technologist at Cornerstone on the Innovation team. He has been a member of the Cornerstone team for over 12 years. Previously, Josh was the IT Director for the West Virginia Board of Education and often served as a substitute science teacher. Josh graduated high school at age 14, attended Carver Career Center, and subsequently received a scholarship to New Horizon Technical Institute, where he received his degree.
