If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter had her wisdom teeth out and was sent home with a prescription for Clindamycin. Clindamycin is an antibiotic and little did we know it should be only used IF there is an infection. She developed what we thought was an infection approximately 2 months later in one of the sockets. We called the office and were told her doctor was going to be out of town so the nurse prescribed another round of Clindamycin. A few months later she developed a C. Difficile intestinal infection. After fighting that infection for 2 months (it would not go away) we sought the help of a gastroenterologist in Peoria. He told us she never should have been prescribed 2 doses of Clindamycin and that is what caused her C Diff. He also told us they never should have prescribed the antibiotic over the phone, they should have taken the time to see her in person. The gastroenterologist prescribed the probiotic VSL #3 which is expensive, not covered by insurance and she had to take it for 3 months. That cured her. She was also warned to try not to take antibiotics for the rest of her life because her C. Diff could reoccur. I do not recommend going here but if you do and you are prescribed Clindamycin please don’t take it! A quick google search of C Diff. + Clindamycin will tell you why.

I would not recommend going here. It took the office months to get information from my insurance on what was covered for my wisdom teeth extraction. I had to call them and they «forgot» to contact my insurance to get the info. Once they did get my coverage info, they told me I was covered 100%, except for the $ 50 copay. Now, three months later, they send me a bill saying I owe almost $ 500. What gives?
As for my actual procedure: It was fast. The nurses that set me up before and after my surgery were nice. The surgeon himself was a jerk. I felt like he rushed my consultation. And I only saw him for maybe a minute the day of the surgery before he put me under. He didn’t come to talk to me after my procedure to tell me how it went or ask if i had any questions about recovery.

Got my wisdom teeth out here. Fast and friendly. I went in on a Monday and was able to schedule the surgery that same Friday. When I had a conflict, I called to reschedule and they pretty much gave me my choice of any day of the week. Long waits for appointments, it took more than 5 minutes of anesthesia to go to sleep, and the insurance situation is a nightmare (but it is everywhere with medical). But I’ve never had problems with their work, and I did not get dry socket. Minus one star for the long waits that seriously dragged on 45 minutes past appointment times on each of my 3 visits to this place.
