Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

Ok so where do i begin… I would rather not even give this place a star at all. it does not deserve one. The place is beyond dirty and very out dated. The structure of this building is falling apart. everything is done so cheap and half assed. most of the furniture is broken or duck taped. the tvs are old. the beds suck. the maids dont even bother to clean your room they pick and choose what rooms they want to clean. the «gym» has a bunch of broken machines and is dirty as hell. some of the other guest have been disruptive and creepy and management did nothing. i would never stay here again. i would not recommend this place to anyone

Wish I could this a negative star. We booked the hotel on
. $ 35 for a one night stay. When we arrive the desk clerk said that he couldn’t pull up our reservation code and pin. The place smelled old and musky. The hotel is very run down. They was only one other vehicle in the entire parking lot. It probably belonged to the desk clerk. The bathroom near the lobby wasn’t working. The clerk said that he could get us another room but we would have to pay the hotel. We had already been charged on
. We tried for over an hour to talk to someone at
but we were on hold and the line kept disconnecting. Since the clerk was not accommodating and no one answered at
we decided to just leave and cut out trip short. We talked to
the next day and they said that they had spoken to the same clerk and confirmed our reservations over a week ago. They also mailed a confirmation to the hotel. Econo Lodge did not want to honor the price that we had booked. They wanted us to pay a higher price since they did not have any other guest. We will never book at this hotel chain again. Horrible experience!!!

This hotel was 31 dollars including the tax and dog charge. They told us this is the first day with new management. A little confusion putting us in a room that had not been made up. That was easily remedied. The carpet and televisions are new. Wifi is available and free. The breakfast area is clean and food adequate. It is an old building, and the bathrooms sorely need updating. Bed was comfortable and it is quiet. An A for effort and price. We will stay there again.

I should have read the other review. The rate was good and they took dogs.
The first room was gross smelling, but looked ok. Obviously, people were smoking in there. Second room was ok, but still a little rank.
Check in took a long time and required more personal information than ever before in America.
Still for 6 hours, it was passable to me, but not to my family. They have permanently swore off Econo Lodge.

Thank You to Choice Hotels for helping us find a room in a sold out market, but wow this room is disgusting.
I can deal with dated… but dirty is another matter. I pull back the comforter to multiple hairs… A grey hair, a blond hair, multiple dark hairs… and the nail clippings… some with nail polish and some without… on the pillow cases on the blanket and on the floor… really…obviously not the kind of service a Choice Diamond Member expects in a hotel!!!
