Fixology Jewelry, Watch, and Cell Phone Repair

Great service at the Mall of America store. Went in for a new battery on one watch, cleaning of another, and a new band for a third — and was satisfied on all three accounts. Friendly and helpful.

My wife and I have been here several times, both to clean our wedding rings and to fix a pair of sunglasses. They have never charged us. They always fix or clean things right away. I will be coming back.

I have been to Fixology on 3 separate occasions … one time to get my glasses, which was completely bent out of shape that Lenscrafters couldn’t fix, one time to get the gummy gook off of my watch with some cleaning, one time to replace my battery for my watch. On each visit the entire staff, have been amazingly helpful, and a fantastic job! So happy to have found Fixology!

DO NOT take a cell phone here for repair. Took daughters phone in for broken screen and within 2 weeks her home button suddenly wouldn’t work half the time. 30 days later the screen would no longer register any touch. We called and they said they would take a look at it but offered nothing in terms of warranty coverage Basically they broke more than they fixed !!
BEWARE !!! Better yet — stay away !

I had 2 expensive watches needing links removed and batteries. Although they were new/​unworn, I had them in my drawer over a year as they didn’t fit, as nobody wanted to touch them unless I had purchased them there, or a few jewelers said I could drop them off and come back in a few weeks as they send them out to someone else. Didn’t sound like I would be assured of a good fit. I gave up on the project of finding a watch repair shop until recently when I really wanted to wear one of my nice watches.
I found out about Fixology right here on Unilocal,and headed to MOA the very next day. I parked by Nordstrom and Fixology is just across the hall on 3. Easy access.
The man took his time, making sure I had the perfect fit, offering to add or subtract links even after the initial job was done. I felt he really wanted to make sure I liked the fit, and there was zero pressure to hurry up even though they did have other customers. It was like the Nordstrom «awesome service» genes rubbed off on Fixology due to their close proximity.
I love wearing my fancy watches! Yes, it is $ 35 but you get a 5 yr warranty and I’ve never had a battery last more than a year or so. I think it is a great deal especially if it is a watch you plan to keep a while.

I have now been to Fixology on 3 separate occasions (custom engraving on a Zippo, broken glass on phone, broken silver bracelet in need of soldering) and on each visit the entire staff, but especially John!, have been amazingly helpful, super knowledgeable, and done the best job! So glad I found this place, thank you Fixology!

Great service and fast! Fixed the crystal on my Seiko and it looks like new. Be sure to mention the coupon they have on their site!

Really nice people and great customer service. I was expecting a shop full of snooty sales people who would try to upsell me at every move seeing as they are located in the Mall of America. Boy, was I wrong. I walked in right as they opened on a Sunday and was given quick service. I had been walking around with a watch that wasn’t working for a long time because of habit. Alll i needed was a battery. I had been to Macys earlier in the week and they just stuck up their noses at me and said they couldn’t change the battery on my watch. Apparently one of the screws was sticky. My watch is a pretty beat up early model Micheal Kors watch. They didn’t comment on the condition the watch was in they just said it would be done in 30 minutes.
I came back to the store about an hour later and the watch was ready to go. They didn’t mention a sticky screw but said that the last servicer had stripped a screw. Thanks Macys! Although the price was a little steep ($ 35 wow), the service was great and I wouldn’t think twice about coming back here again. Plus they said that the battery had a long time warranty when I can come back and get it replace for free!

Nice guys and great service. I took my watch in for a battery replacement. They also provided a cleaning and pressure sealed the watch again (a service not offered at your typical department store). All in all, it took 20 mins to complete. I’d recommend visiting during the weekday evenings if you can to avoid the mall crowds. They also provide a 5 year warranty on the battery too which seems pretty generous to me.

My wedding band had to be cut off prior to surgery and so I went to Fixology to have it repaired and enlarged. The sad part for me was that the ring had an intricate design etched on it and I figured that from now on I’d have to wear my ring with the repair turned to the back so it wouldn’t show. I was blown away when I came in to pick the ring up… the Fixology goldsmith had duplicated the design so that the intricate engraving was continuous even onto the new gold that had been added — she had to show me where the repair had been made! I had not asked or expected them to attempt to duplicate the design. It’s beautiful and I am thrilled!

Bit of a wait while the gentleman was providing service for another, but he replaced my watch battery within minutes once I handed it over to him. Fast and professional service of a quality enough to warrant the detour from the airport and make my flight without issue. Definitely recommend if you need watch services, but I recommend calling ahead like I did given all the advanced services they may be performing (a bunch of complicated machinery is visible).

Walked in to the store yesterday to get two links removed from a newly purchased watch from a different store. Wasn’t greeted by anyone although no other customers were being helped with. Took the initiative to talk to a gentlemen behind the counter in a white coat for assistance in a nice manner. In return, I received a snobby attitude by guy in white coat as if I was not welcome and that my request to have two watch links removed was a bother to him in his work day. Barely made eye contact with me and gave me short answers. Finally asked for the price to remove two watch links which ended up being around $ 14. That was the final line so I walked out, I will never ever walk back in to that store due to the employee’s attitude and I will never recommend anyone to go there.
One star for customer service, not the price although I did think that it was a little on the higher side to simply remove two links.
Note to manager: Please hire people with customer service experience. To treat potential customers like they’re lower class will never get you recurring businesses.

I bought a deal for a 5yr battery replacement for 9.99 and knew I had a bvlgari watch needing new batteries to be replaced stopped in on a Saturday wasn’t busy at all and there was a guy that fixed the watches while a lady ringing up items. Both were super friendly and helpful!
their Moto is to be fixed fast, it done in 5min keeping to their words. plus they were informative about watches I’m for sure going to come back if i have any watch issues! The neat thing is while he replaces or fixes you can watch the whole process in store or through the window facing the outside of the store. making me feel like i traveled back to a old watch maker store instead of a modern day shop in the mall of America. 5stars for being on top of customer service and overall goodness.
