Do not lease with Jamar Properties!!! I wish someone had warned us before we did. It has been a nightmare. We were lied to to get us into the lease (we were told we could use the basement as storage, but could not, we were told our dogs were ok to have, but months after the lease began were asked to pay a large additional deposit because the owner didn’t realize we had dogs), they make up silly reasons to enter our apartment a few times a month, they come into our apartment with possible tenants without asking or warning us first, and the bills we pay through Jamar are never detailed, only an amount. Our experience with Jamar has been so sketchy and frustrating, and we are nice, quiet tenants that only wish to not be bothered or lied to. They are unorganized, dishonest, and just a horrible company to have to deal with. I wish it were possible to give zero stars.

We got the run around with this company, we were told we would be signing a lease for a house they showed us that we loved. Then the day we are suppose to sign the lease they tell us sorry the tenants changed their mind and we would have to find a new house. We found out the tenants did the same thing a year before and we were going to be paying more rent! They then show us a new house and no call back or e-​mails back after they told us we could rent this house. We later found out the house we looked at was for sale by the owner. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY, IT’S A JOKE! I can’t believe they are still in business.
