We serve the entire states of Minnesota and Wisconsin with the majority of our work being done in the seven county Twin Cities Metropolitan Area and Western Wisconsin.

History

Established in 1975.

Sunde Land Surveying, Inc was founded in 1975 by Edward Sunde, PLS. Throughout the years, he added office space, equipment and more employees at his Bloomington, MN office. Which is where our offices are still located today.

Ed relied on the administrative team of Mark Hanson, PLS, Scott Soukup, PLS and John Barnes, PLS, to perform the day to day managerial decisions regarding jobs and employees.

In 1998, Ed retired and sold the company to Mark, Scott and John. Sunde Land Surveying, LLC was born.

In 2007, Sunde Land Surveying purchased the companies of Comstock & Davis, Carley-​Torgersen and 4 other companies in the Twin Cities Metro area. As a result of these purchases, a vast amount of historical information was added to the archives Sunde Land Surveying had developed during its 34 years in business.

In 2008, Arlee Carlson, PLS and Lenny Carlson, PLS joined the ranks of principal upon John Barnes’ retirement.
