Excellent food. The place is small and not much to look at, but it has the best seafood I’ve had so far.

There isn’t a dish on the menu I don’t love! My favorites are the lobster stew as well as the lobster roll, which I think is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The blueberry milkshake is also amazing. Oh, and the onion rings are superb! My son loves the kids menu and the play set outside. We come here multiple times when we visit Blue Hill because it’s quick, convenient, and delicious. Whether you’re craving seafood or a burger and fries, this is the place to get it!

Great little local joint. Good food, endearing service by no doubt a local teen. Had lobster of course but hubby loves the fish and chips — haddock. Coconut cream pie was sinful. In the best of ways!

Excellent seafood shack with courteous service. We had the steamers — fresh and perfect and the best lobster bisque ever! Seafood both simple and fresh at good prices. Have a soft ice cream twist for a perfect summer dessert.

We got several dishes. The lobster roll was very good. The fish and chips were great. But the fried clams were just average. Not bad, mind you, but not quite what we hoped for. Still an enjoyable meal.

Their lobster rolls and onion rings were terrific. Also enjoyed the home made peanut butter bar and soft serve. Nice shady picnic tables and a little play area for kids. The people working there were both nice and efficient.

Fabulous food. A small place to eat inside and plenty of seating outdoor. Order at the window and go grab a table. Milkshakes are perfect and the rolls are a true Maine roll without all the schmutz. Long kids menu with 10 choices. Everything you would imagine from a roadside food joint.

Classic mayo lobster roll. This is the best lobster roll I have ever had. The roll is large and filled with sweet delicious lobster and a hint of mayo. The bread was perfect buttered and grilled to perfection. The experience was perfect. If you are in the area this place is a must.

WAAAAAY over priced and not good! 30 dollars for a lobster roll, French fries and a fried oyster roll. There are so many more places worth that kind of money for lunch, and this place isn’t. The fried clams were greasy. I mean NASTY greasy that if you picked up on your fingers were slick. Go into Bar Harbor if you want a good Seafood lunch, or even in Trenton, Maine. It’s worth the drive!

Mostly overpriced, greasy food. I’d give the lobster roll three stars and most other menu items one star.

This place has been here forever! This is not 4 star dining, grab an ice cream and just smile… Of course there are classically made lobster rolls… Is it the best– try and rate it;)

The best lobster roll in Blue Hill! A bit pricey, but worth it. Also a pretty good lobster dinner for the money The soft serve ice cream is really good too.

Off the beaten path and definitely worth it for a very good lobster roll & onion rings — thin & sweet! You’ll find outside picnic tables & a small inside dining area. Nothing fancy but it’s another good stop if, like me, you aim to eat lobster on a daily basis when in ME. Give it a try :-)

Overpriced, mediocre clam shack. As a native New Englander, I love clam shacks. And I also know that certain dishes like lobster rolls and whole belly clams can be expensive. But 50 bucks for two lobster rolls, two sodas, and a side of whole belly clams is pushing it. I’m not a big fan of mayo, so the only lobster rolls I eat are the hot lobster rolls which are made with warm lobster and butter. To me this is the only way to eat them. I gave the Fish Net two stars for being flexible in making me a hot lobster roll. The only problem was it was not hot… not even warm. the lobster tasted like it just came out of the fridge, ice-cold and slapped into an untoasted bun with moderately warm butter. The extra 30 seconds it would have taken to heat it up would have made all the difference. All in all, if there are any other clam shacks in the area, you may want to give one of them a try first.
