Sharks Fish & Chicken

Great fish place! We always get the cat fillets or cat nuggets. I have never been disappointed with the food here. It is freshly prepared and well seasoned. I took off one star because the service can sometimes be a little iffy. Call ahead for no waiting.

My boyfriend and I ordered chicken and fish. I wasn’t impressed the last time I had the chicken, so I decided to go with catfish. I know… the catfish are scavengers and will eat anything. Still, I decided that the chicken at this place wasn’t my cup of tea. Big mistake! The fish was OLD and you could clearly see that it was old when the 2 inch thick batter fell off. They refried the fish and did so by dipping the fish in more batter. I know old fish and I know when fish is overcooked, regardless of the type of fish placed before me.
Also, the fries had the taste of being cooked in very old oil and were gummy. Maybe the fries were old as well. Needless to say, we will never patronize this place again. Just disgusting.

I visit here often and honestly that last review is someone who clearly does read well. The food here is great and so is the service. I’ve never had an issue. Chicken is always crispy (it’s not called Krispys by the way) and the fish is delicious. Also love the lemon pepper.
I believe the other reviewer is just a little a incompetent so I encourage others to go for themselves. Also try the shrimp its really good as well.

while I did like the wings and fries im only giving 2 stars because of poor service… because I did NOT order wings… I ordered 8pcs chicken (guess they count 8 wings as that) it was supposed to be 8 pcs cut up WHOLE chicken with fries for 8.99 … and that is what I was charged… I also ordered a fish dinner and a side .that was forgotten all together… sadly of course it was take out so I didn’t notice till I got home and wasn’t with the weather going to drive back…
order taker to busy playing on phone texting or whatever… didn’t pay good enough attention to order placed and given out…
the food is ok… cost is so so… but the service is to be desired…
I will only going back to get compensation for what was messed up, then maybe will give a second chance at a later date.
