Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bluffton @ Hilton Head Area

Personally if your looking into this hotel for a business stay or a long term stay Dont even bother. I’ve been here for a few days now and just the other day «Sunday» every one checked out and I was sitting on my computer playing my video game & was only picking up two bars of wifi. My internet would disconnect every 10−15minutes. I’ve been to many crowded hotels & have gotten full wifi with no issue .
I’m to the point where I’d rather check out to save my company money, park in a McDonalds parking lot for wifi and sleep on an ant mound and bathe in the ocean .
I do not recommend this hotel at all unless your just stopping here for a night.

Came here for marine graduation. It was quite a distance away, but it was a really nice hotel. Rooms were big and clean. We got fresh towels right away. Up front desk people were super nice. There were fresh Otis spunkenmeyer cookies and the breakfast was pretty nice. Had a decent selection compared to most. All in all a pretty nice place

I travel for business. I know this brand well. Not up to usual standard. Blaring music at next door bar. Mattress was worn out — could feel the metal frame around edges. On plus side, workout space is pristine. Looked brand new and hardly ever used.
I picked this hotel based on consistency over the years. Very disappointed.
The wifi is worthless. It’s fast enough when it works. But it requires you to log in every time you open an app. And when the app is open, the signal vanishes intermittently and at random times.
I have never had an experience like this one with this brand. Longest 3 day stay I’ve ever had.

One of the nicer holiday inn’s I have stayed at. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast had a lot of options and was better quality than most other hotels. Definitely would stay here again.

Bow Wow Woof Woof
If you like staying in a kennel, this is the motel for you. I have no objection to pet-​friendly lodging, but the concentration of mutts in this place was wholly unreasonable. Just walking down the hallway provoked various barks from deep blood-​hound type bays to snippy yip-​yaps from behind room doors. They spilled out of the elevators and escapees ran down the hallways.
Reward points? Beware, you may not get points earned or honored here if you are staying outside the window this establishment chooses to participate in some program. Your only «reward» may be a small bag of M&M candies. Oh, so sorry: no bone for the doggie either.
Moreover, and by far the most disturbing, be prepared to provide the identity of people staying in your room — the identity of person (s) beyond the individual who is registering and paying for the room. At what other motel have you been required to provide that level of information? Sit. Stay.
So, if you like having your privacy imperiled and you embrace the concept of spending the night in a dog pound, make your reservations here. Arf Arf

Nice clean rooms, front desk help was helpful in referring places to eat

Boy did this hotel catch me off guard with its awesomeness! For those of you that have never been to HIlton Head, South Carolina is known for its history, arts, and beaches (to name a few). It’s a very peaceful area but, to us northern folk, we might have a twitch on the tongue that mutters «boonies» or «sticks» when referencing such places.
A graduation at Parris Island led me to do a search for a hotel and I found this inexpensive place, which was roughly about a half hour drive away. Walking in, I was extremely impressed! Fresh chocolate chip cookies in an enclosed case set up for anyone to grab and eat to their heart’s content? Hellooooo Nurse! Ok sorry, no the cookies weren’t the most important thing but hey it was the first thing I noticed. Anyway, we were greeted by a stylish design, staff with warm smiles, a seamless check-​in, information about nearby places (including the Target right next door), the free wi-​fi and the times we could partake in the complimentary breakfast.
The beds were extremely comfortable and I loved the fact that each bed had between 4 –5 pillows, each labelled to indicate what type of pillow it was (soft or firm). We didn’t have any movie channels, but there was a pretty good channel selection (including the Discovery Channel =). The fridge w/​freezer section was large sized and having a microwave in the room was a great addition. My only complaints on the rooms were the humidity level. Despite adjusting the air unit on the floor, the rooms were really humid. The bathrooms seemed to suffer from this issue, as there were a few specks of mold here and there on the ceiling and it took over 20 minutes for steam to leave the bathroom mirrors (although the installation of a bathroom fan would have assisted with that, hint hint).
I didn’t go swimming in the pool (since my hair was «did») but it was right outside our room and it certainly wasn’t as big as the professional picture portrays it. I call camera lens magic on that one. The breakfast bar was great. Cereals, teas, sausage, eggs, waffles, pancakes, toast, fruit, yogurt, grits & oatmeal (instant packets), and even a tray in the yogurt and milk fridge for boiled eggs! There was a juice station with orange and apple juice, but sadly no cranberry. I also wished the hotel had more meat options than just the beef sausage patties they offered each morning. It was still a great breakfast spread though, especially since it was free!
Great find and great job Holiday Inn! Oh, and one last thing, if you’re a Priority Rewards member you get the option of a 1pm late checkout. But make sure you let them know you’re a member, because I wasn’t asked upon check-​in.

Comfy beds. Will not let you accrue priority pts if your rate is below a certain $ so confirm. Bad fitness Ctr. My shirt was stolen from my room so that was disappointing. If you are headed this way for vacation, pick somewhere else to stay. If you just need a room for the night with no frills, it will meet your needs.

This was a nice change after our disappointing stay at Holiday Inn in Tuscaloosa, AL. All the personnel were friendly and helpful. They made our stay so much more pleasant. The breakfast was good and the manager’s reception was great. They had the nice little touches of complimentary water and snacks at check-​in since I am a priority club member and the USA today under my door. They had the fresh cookies. All that is wonderful but the people working there make it even better. They are pet friendly too! I’ll highly recommend staying there.

Nice, clean, and pet friendly! A side note: if you’re traveling with your four legged family member the hotel requires a $ 50 non-​refundable deposit. It’s well worth the short drive from I-​95 (about 10 minutes) and there’s a string of restaurants that share the same parking lot. We would definitely stay here again.
