Another mall staple, Auntie Anne’s sits outside of the food court at the SPM. There is ample seating and it sits right beside a Gloria Jean’s Coffee and an E Cig booth. Auntie Anne’s serves pretzels with several dips as well as drinks and pretzel dogs. The pretzels are about 3 dollars a piece so if you are looking for something cheap this is not the place to eat at. I was thirsty yesterday while shopping at the mall, so I opted for a drink. The strawberry lemonade was delicious and they have other flavors of lemonade as well. The cashier asked me if I wanted a pretzel and I did not politely decline them; Instead I told her they looked burnt. She then told me that is how the oven cooks them and the batch is pretty new. With that being said it was 8:50 at night, Wednesday in Youngstown and I highly doubt the pretzels were just cooked unless there was a pretzel rush I do not know about. On a side note: This location usually has half off pretzels past closing time. Yesterday when I went I watched the clerk throw away about 20 pretzels from the case(that were fresh out of the oven as she said). So much for helping out with the world hunger problem.
