Lids

My mom and I headed to this Lids store, located just about dead center in the Southern Park Mall, the day after Christmas on a mission to buy my boyfriend a Steelers cap and a Yankees cap. Mission accomplished.
Nice selection of college and professional sports team hats, especially for the geographically close teams as well as the more popular teams. That being said, we had quite a few Steelers and Yankees caps from which to choose. Ended up with an NFL Apparel Reebok Vintage Collection Steelers cap and an MLB Genuine Merchandise ’47 Twins Yankees cap.
Service was excellent, and I did ask for some advice when it came down to deciding on the size my boyfriend needed in the Yankees cap. (The Steelers cap was, thankfully, One Size Fits All.) I remembered my guy once talking about his big head, a head so big that he had trouble finding the appropriate helmet size when he played college football. (I don’t think his head looks that big, but whatever.) I asked a male sales associate a few questions about the XL size cap and, ultimately, was assured that it wouldn’t be a problem for my boyfriend to exchange the cap at any Lids location if it doesn’t fit.
To the customer decked out in Browns gear who teasingly informed me that I was buying the «wrong“‘ NFL team hat: You wish, buddy!
Lids happened to be running a buy-​1-​get-​1-​half-​off special that covered the vast majority of the hats in the store, so we scored the 2 caps for about $ 40. Not bad at all.
