A1A Airport & Limousine Service

Olen has been my driver about twice a week for the last few months. He has been safe, reliable, and professional. Communication with him has been flawless. When he’s not driving me, ask for Olen.

Our driver, Will, drove us from Boca Raton to the Fort Lauderdale airport and was on time even with a little miscommunication of the pickup address. He was friendly and helpful with the luggage, and got us to the airport in great time and had nice conversations! Definitely will be using this service again the next time I need a ride!

My husband & I have used this company 2 times for home to PBIA and reverse. They are timely, Send confirmation e-​mails, and text at the airport for pickup. They lose points for not honoring their own coupons for early A.M. pickup before 6, and also for included gratuity that is high. Clean towncars and small cold water waiting for me in back was a plus!

Used this service for a pick-​up in East Boca and drop off at MIA airport. If the driver who picked us up at MIA after our 10 hour flight returning from Europe had performed like the driver who picked us up at our homes in East Boca when we started our travels, this would be a 5 star review.
The OFFICE STAFF AND OPERATIONS are efficient. They confirm via text message prior to pick-​up, and the assigned driver actually called the night before our 6:00 AM pick-​up, and arrived 15 minutes early. HE PLACED ALL LUGGAGE IN THE SUV.
The driver who picked us up at MIA airport was on time, waiting with signage when departing the terminal. However, he did NOT ATTEMPT TO PLACE LUGGAGE IN THE SUV. Frankly, this may have been, in part, attributable to our actions.
We were three very tired travelers, arriving back after a 10 hour flight, at 4:30 PM. One was a woman, the other two were men. The DRIVER WAS MATURE ++, perhaps in his late 70’s or early 80’s?
My partner is a sensitive guy (AND IN GOOD SHAPE) and when he noted the driver’s age and seemingly less than robust demeanor, and slight walking impediment, he navigated our two large suitcases from the terminal to the parking garage (shouldn’t the driver do that?), and he lifted them AND two other large pieces of luggage into the SUV.
While I stood by, unable to assist due to recent surgery, and our fellow traveler companion was oblivious, as she was checking her cell phone, D lifted and maneuvered luggage weighing about 250lbs in total from the ground into the back of the SUV. The driver stood by and watched, never once attempting to assist.
AIA should NOT utilize drivers who are incapable or unwilling or clearly less than eager to navigate your luggage from the terminal to their vehicle. And it is the DRIVER’s responsibility to get it into the SUV. After all, that is part of the service you have paid for.
NOTE: AIA PLACES A MANDATORY SERVICE CHARGE OF 20% ON THE SERVICE FEE AS A TIP FOR THE DRIVER. What am I tipping him for? Arriving at the airport? Driving the vehicle? Wearing a suit and tie? Smiling? NO, IT IS A TIP FOR HIS ASSISTANCE WITH LUGGAGE…

I have never personally used them but my mother, father, sister, and grandparents have used them multiple times and I have always heard good things. My parents can never say enough about them, she loves this service and gets excited anytime she goes on a trip that she can use as an excuse to call these folks.

I am giving this limo service 2 stars because they sent a driver who did not help with any of our luggage in loading and unloading the van. I specifically requested a van since we had 8 large suitcases and several carry-​ons and we are a family of 6. She helped a little loading the van when we were picked up at our hotel but stopped immediately when the men in our family showed up with the other bags. At the airport she watched as my husband, son and son-​in law unloaded the van all my themselves. Is this not part of the service and part of what gratuity is for? Perhaps had she not been wearing high heels she could have helped more. BTW, our pickup at the airport was with a driver who helped with all the bags. This was my expectation for the return trip. This limo company should know better to send someone who is capable of helping with a lot of luggage. That leg of the trip gets 4 stars!

My daughter reserved a limo, which looked more like a bus on the outside, for her wedding in Jupiter. It was nice having lots of headroom which made it easy to enter and exit. The interior was quite elegant and comfortable. Rich Derosa, the driver, showed up right on time and was very polite. The sound system was incredible and it was quite a party going to the wedding venue. He stopped enroute so that we could take some pre wedding photos at a butterfly garden. He showed up again right on time after the wedding reception. He dropped the wedding party and some guests at a club after which he returned us to our hotel. It was an excellent experience and I would certainly recommend Rich Derosa and A1A Limoousine.

I arranged with A1A to pick up my son & in-​laws at the airport, bring them to their home south of the airport, and to bring my son home (north Fort Lauderdale) after dropping my in-​laws first. There were explicit instructions to contact my son in the event of any issue as my husband and I were traveling too on that day. Once I landed in the States to catch my connection, but before clearing customs, I discovered a message from A1A. When I called the driver, he was no longer assigned to this call, as my in-​laws flight was delayed. He would not call the office to communicate that they needed to contact my son (as had been expressly arranged when I booked this service). As I was worried since my in-​laws are very elderly and incapacitated, I called the office and nearly had my phone taken away (customs. A big no-​no). The worst of it however was that the (newly assigned) driver started to take my family to our home instead of to north Miami as he was supposed to do. Only after going under the Las Olas tunnel did my father-​in-​law realize this. This little mishap added at least a half hour to their journey, which to a frail 94 years old is not a pleasure. Clearly this operation is only able to handle the most rudimentary of arrangements. They obviously are not in the habit of reviewing instructions or going beyond their job description.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a limousine service. We hired A1A for our son’s wedding to pick up guests from two different hotels (right down the street from each other). On the first run, the driver made the mistake of driving through a traffic jam that could have easily been avoided. This put us ½ hour behind schedule. When I spoke to the driver about taking a different route the next time, it took me almost 15 minutes to convince him to go a different way. On the next run he only picked up guests at one hotel and left the other guests stranded and late for the wedding. Our guests ended up having to take taxis to get to the wedding! Afterwards, I called to complain and spoke to someone who said the manager would call back. So far no one has called to speak to us about what happened. I would not recommend using this service!

Needed a last minute ride to the airport. They were able to accommodate my request. They arrived on time. The driver drove responsibly, helped us with the luggage, etc. He was polite and professional. I don’t recall his name, but he was excellent.
Then, on our return date, I called several hours in advance. Alex, our driver, met us inside at baggage claim. He helped take most of our luggage to the car, even though I offered to help. He installed the carseat, which always amazes me when a male knows how to do this — properly. There’s more to it than just strapping it in with a seatbelt. He was polite, friendly, keeping us engaged in conversation for most of the drive home. He drove responsibly, and also helped bring the luggage into the foyer when dropping us off.
This is an incredibly reliable company. The reservation process was completed with ease. Payment was a flat rate taken upfront. It also already included the tax plus tip, which I prefer because then I don’t have to figure anything out or have anything unexpected pop up. The car was in good condition and clean.
The next time I need a ride to the airport, they will be the only company I call. Excellent company! Thanks again!

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! Very unprofessional. They were late to pick me up after my flight. Plus the driver was driving recklessly and speeding after he showed up. I felt like I was a small job he was trying to get out if the way. Did not like the service, never again.

We purchased their services for a wedding pick up. They arrived on time and the vehicle was nice. The driver was friendly, he was driving way too fast though. My husband and I were nervous, but the overall experience was great. He also helped us with all our wedding stuff. They also honored our Unilocal deal which was great. I would use their service again.

This was my first time using A1A Limo. I was in desperate need of same day transportation. The lady on the phone was respectful, and listened to what I had to say. I used the Unilocal coupon without a fuss!
My driver arrived 30 minutes early and the vehicle was in impeccable condition; clean and comfortable.

First time using A1A Limo. It was awesome. The vehicles were incredibly clean and the service was the best livery service I have ever received out of Boca. We had to go Colorado with 7 people for a wedding. We purchased a round trip for $ 125 all included each way. The night before the driver contacted me for directions and to verify details. He was there early (6:30a for 6:45a pickup), helpful and really good spirits. Made the start of the trip excellent.
Day before we left, they contacted me in Colorado the same as the first. We will be there. The driver was there with sign as I got out of terminal and he grabbed my carryon and was also fantastic person. Helpful and great spirit. The vehicle was beautiful Mercedes Van and eventhough the flight was an hour late and one of our luggage was lost the guy was awesome and helpful. Got us home and just fantastic experience. They not only have my good review they now have my loyalty and I will be sending everyone who needs a car and driver right to A1A limo and will be using them from now on.

Worst Limo Service ever in the whole world! they let customers down with pick up from
Airport after 20 hr. flight, and then have the guts to lie about it.
