total scammers. they had over three weeks to pick up my car. the quote was 595 the lowest quote by about 50 bucks. their ad said «5 star rating». so i decided to use them. after repeated attempts to contact them via phone and email «renee» finally called me back 2 days before the car was supposed to be picked up and was like «oh ok ill find someone for you» 3 days after the pickup date i call again and left a very short message and finally they found a shipper. but now the price is nearly 900 dollars, which is about the highest quote i was given from other comapnies. i was in a bind because the guy im getting the car from is moving i continued with the shipping. but beware, they dont ever answer the phone. out of 20 or more calls i never got through one time. they changed the cost of the shipping by nearly 300 dollars which is about 150% of what they quoted. i buy and sell cars constantly about 4 a year and never in all the years have i done it have i dealt with a lazier or more dishonest company. if i could give them –5 stars i would. its shame i didnt read these reviews first. thats not how a business is run, you give me a quote and a contract with a pickup date, you fulfill your contract or charge me less. thats how it usually works. you dont break contract then charge me 50 percent extra because you know im in a bind. this is literally the first review ive ever left in my life and its well worth my time if i can save another person the hassle of dealing with these unethical inefficient buffoons.

Scam! I gave these clowns two weeks to find someone to ship my vehicle on a specified date but they kept stalling, despite five email inquiries.
On the day prior to my necessary pick-​up date I was forced to cancel and find another company. 30 minutes later they «coincidentally» found someone to ship my auto. That’s no coincidence.
Reading other reviews it’s apparent they wait until the last minute, then pressure their customers to pay a premium for immediate pick-​up.
Finally, they refused to refund my $ 160, even though I cancelled before they found a carrier. I told them to weigh the cost of a refund against negative online reviews. In their hubris and complete lack of customer service, they refused.
Avoid this company.

I was bamboozled by Lightning Auto for 7 days with promises that they were going to pick up my car any day. I read the Unilocal reviews and found Andrew Auto Transport. I called and got Brian on a Saturday. He gave me a great overview of how the industry works and promised to get my car picked up by Wednesday. There were a few bumps but he got a driver who showed up as promised on Thursday at 4:30 pm. The car was delivered from NY to Savannah, Ga on Friday by 2:30 pm! I was thrilled. I appreciated that he stayed in touch with me daily. He did get a little testy with me on the phone when I protested about a driver dropping off the car somewhere other than the address I gave him but after that he persisted and got me a driver who dropped the car off when he said he would where he said he would! Very pleased with this company. WOULD ABSOLUTELY USE THEM AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT HESITATION! Thanks Brian!!! :)

I am 100% certain my car was shipped with your company. I spoke to you in person on the phone several times regarding my concerns about timely shipping and was reassured that everything would be fine. Obviously, it was not.
For your records, the car was picked up in San Jose, CA on ⁴⁄₁₆ and delivered to Burlington, VT on ⁴⁄₂₃.
