History

Established in 1964.

Babione Funeral Home was established in East Boca Raton, Florida in 1964 by community leader Robert J. Babione, Sr. and his business partner. In 1976, Mr. Babione and his wife, Helen, took sole ownership of the business and proceeded to make renovations. In 1991, a second location was opened to serve families living in the western portion of Boca Raton and surrounding areas.

Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Boca Raton has proudly assisted Boca Raton families with their funeral needs for almost 50 years. On February 28, 2014 Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Boca Raton merged with Babione Funeral Homes combining two wonderful families who have served the Boca Raton community for years. At that time, Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center closed its current location at 1353 North Federal Highway in Boca Raton. and our new name became Babione — Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
