Chili’s

2 for one drinks. Are you kidding me Chilis. More like one beer split into two baby glass. Never again.

I really wanted to rate this restaurant 4 stars, but unfortunately had to go with 3 (or even 2.5)! I’ll start with the positives from my experience here this evening… The food was really good and came out fast and just as I ordered it. The hostesses and the server in the section next to where I was sitting were very friendly and helpful. Also, there was a guy that came to our table during our meal to make a balloon shaped monkey in a tree for my 2 year old which he enjoyed! Overall, a solid 4 stars. wish I could have given it that.
However, when I arrived, I placed my drink order and son’s dinner order with the host since I needed to take my son to the bathroom. My server came and dropped off the drink order when I returned, and as soon as he left, I realized we had no straws. I immediately stopped and asked him for some and told him all I needed was 30 seconds with the menu and I’d be ready (this was because if I waited too long there’d be too much of a lapse between my son’s and my dinner coming and he can only be patient so long being a 2 year old.) After saying this, I was ready in 30 seconds to put the order in, but spent the next 10 minutes after that trying to flag my server down. He did have a bunch of other tables, but walked by me multiple times where I tried to politely wave, say excuse me, flag him down, and he never looked at me at all. He walked by at least 6 times… I finally asked the server next to my station if I can place my order with him because it was a Friday night and it was getting busy and I was worried that there would be too much of a lapse between our orders. This other server was super friendly and I was thankful he was so helpful. My son’s meal came out from a food runner and I realized I had no napkins for his burger and fries, so again I tried to flag my server down for a few minutes as he walked by me with no luck. I could see the napkins at the host station so I finally just got up and got them myself. My meal arrived pretty fast and was also brought by a food runner. As soon as they walked away, I realized I had no silverware. Again, I tried to flag my server down with no luck! I eventually asked a host for some silverware. My meal was great… I ordered the turkey sandwich, hot, with broccoli and cheese instead of fries. My son inhaled his cheeseburger as well and loved the balloon entertainment. I ran out of iced tea in the middle of my meal though and just had to go without! I tried to flag my server down and finally got him after a bunch of attempts, and this time, I asked for more iced tea with the check. This he brought fast. At this point, I was still going to rate this place 4 stars because I wanted to give my server the benefit of the doubt since I had enjoyed my meal, and I tried telling myself that perhaps he was over sat (given too many tables at once) even though, looking back, he still gave all his other tables way more attention than he gave us. I’ve served tables long ago so I can understand.
However, I was left with a sour taste in my mouth when after I wrote the tip in and signed, my server was all of a sudden hanging around my table cleaning and picking up food not yet done (son’s fries). And he was obviously trying to hint for me to leave so he could have another party sit there to make more money on the table. I was super annoyed because this was the most I’d seen him all night. He probably was acting like this because it was just my son and I so it wasn’t a huge bill… But I am a great tipper! I left unable to rate this place 4 stars because of him because service really does have a big effect on your dining experience! By far the worst server I have had in a really long time! If I do return, and he is my server, I am going to ask for a different table!

Very bad service food took forever to arrive and the server that brought the food was in a rush. Not coming back

Yesterday 4:15 the place was empty no one greeted me so I sat my self waitress ran over to me and gave me $ 300.00 I dropped on the floor she earned a good tip for that. The food well that’s why I only gave 3 stars.

Use Chilis as a «quick» alternative to Fast Food for road travel and in airports but something not too positive is going on at all Chilis across the country. They have become consistently mediocre at best on food quality and their service standards are fair to poor.
Were it not one of my 10yr old nephews favorites, I would not be dining at this West Boca neighborhood location. But I will say it is 1 Star better than the East Boca location.

Wow! My family and I have been coming here for years and tonight we were sorely disappointed.
I just started really using Unilocal efficiently or else I would have already reviewed.
Waitress was mediocre who talked us out of table side guacamole because «it would take her to long» when we I ordered the normal guacamole salsa and chips the salsa was watery and the guac left much to be desired, we told the waitress who said «sorry but the table side guac doesn’t always come out good anyway»
WHO SAYS THAT??? The table next to ours was eating it, we asked them how good it was, they said delicious. HOW DISAPPOINTING
My wife daughter and I each ordered a meal, again mediocre– there was a steak plate, taco plate and fajita plate.
We weren’t expecting five-​star meal however again we frequented this place often… Not so sure about it anymore.

On the lower end of the spectrum in terms of chain restaurants. Chili’s is bad when it comes to food. Most of everything here tastes like it comes out of a frozen bag and warmed up in the microwave. Take the Trio Fajitas for example; Chicken was totally bland, flavorless, and dry. The Shrimp was edible, but nothing more. The grilled steak is decent, but nothing amazing. Portion size of this is very small, and not appetizing. Actually, nothing here I saw actually looked good, it just all looked like processed crap. Pricing wasn’t too high, but not exactly a bargain either, especially considering the quality of the food. It didn’t seem like the menu had many value deals.
Our waitress was actually extremely nice. She was a bit slow, however the place was crowded and it seemed she was quite busy. Atmosphere is pretty standard for a Chili’s, and it’s not very big inside. The one stand out quality for me was these machines they have at each table, which you can order from and even pay your bill. We paid our bill from it flawlessly and even used a coupon. Those machines are the way of the future for restaurants, so it was nice to see them using it, and it working well.
Look, it’s a standard chain restaurant. Don’t come here and expect anything fantastic. If you do decide to come here, expect what you’d get at a low end chain, because that’s all that this place has to offer.

What a dirty place. And staff treats the customers bad and food is awefuul never ever eat here!

Chillis can do no wrong in my eyes ! My biggest complaint is that everything on the menu looks good so I never know what to get ! From juicy cooked to perfection burgers to tex Mexico style tostadas everything is delicious. Did I mention 2 for one margaritas every day ! Yum…

It’s not chilies as a chain but this one and this experience was horrible, they never brought the drinks or came back until they brought the food. Then the order came out wrong, what was right looked like it has been sitting, then the food that was wrong never came back till after the rest of the table was done… Pretty much a disaster!

Yuck. The food just makes you feel sick after. It doesn’t taste good and isn’t fresh. The fries weren’t crispy or hot. My husbands chicken crisper were only half battered. The juice for my kids drink tasted like it came from a can. We would’ve gotten better food at the Burger King next door. The emails with all the free apps and kids meals can’t get me back in the door.

Come here for lunch today. Love the new look and menu. Ask for Gina at the bar she will make sure you have a great meal and drinks.

Chili’s use to be my favorite chain, but each time I come here, the place Keeps getting worse. They are super slow. It took 10 min to get drinks and 45 min to get an appetizer. The food is changing. I don’t like the guacamole anymore or the quesadillas. They are making tons of changes and it’s not for the best. It’s like they don’t know who they are anymore. Which is not good. Kinda like what happened to ruby tuesday. Probably won’t come anymore. :/​wished they changed back!

Fajitas were good but we ordered cheese sticks as an app and the sauce was acidic tasting which is not the sign of freshness. We got a new sauce which was ok and the sticks could have been cooked a bit better. I feel their service went down hill a bit and so did the food. You think after remodeling and rebranding it would be great.

I used to go here every once in awhile but not anymore. First off, my boyfriend and I both ordered waters and the cups were disgusting. He swiped his finger on the inside of the cloudy colored cup and it left a streak. After that, we asked for bottled waters. I ordered chicken fajitas and when the food arrived, there was a long black hair in the cheese. I will never go back to this location again.

Believe the other negative reviews. I know full well what to expect from a typical Chilis. But whoever is running the kitchen at this location needs to train their kitchen staff better. Half my plate was cold because they did not «cook» my frozen food properly. The waitstaff is very friendly, however.

Went to Chili’s Saturday night with my husband. Close to home. Had a 20 minute wait, not bad. Totally lost our appetite once seated. The table was extra sticky, it was definitely wiped down with a rag that hadn’t been washed in weeks. Once I got the whiff of foul moldy odor. I had to leave. How disgusting. We watched the tables be wiped down with a filthy cloth. This place should be closed down and renevated. Come on Chili’s clean up your act.

Went on a Saturday and was seated quickly. The server was very good and kept refilling our drinks. Ordered the Sante Fe salad and some boneless wings. The food was very good. No complaints here, fast service and reasonable price. Also, liked the pads they have at tables you can swipe your card and leave tip. Nice gadget.

Do I feel bad writing this review? No. I probably felt more guilty eating the food actually. I will say something feels wrong doing it. Like picking on that special kid in school. I should have just kept it moving but I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t say how I felt about this place.
That’s the purpose of Unilocal.For a person to express his/​her experience and enlighten others. So here it goes.
If you don’t know by now 99.9% of the food served at Chilis is previously frozen then you still probably believe the WWF is real too. Out of all of these type of restaurants and by that I mean TGIF or Applebees, I can comfortably say I’m taking Chilis.
Service is usually better. Their menu is more interesting. They don’t try and do too much and fail at everything like the other places. I stick to what I am accustomed too; the chicken fingers and the molten chocolate cake. Their drink specials are also pretty good.
But the molten cake is probably the only reason I’m coming to Chilis. It’s a fabulous microwaved cake with vanilla ice cream, sundae sauce and some other stuff probably crack. It’s a top 5 dessert period. It’s why I’m giving Chilis a respectable 3 star and will be the only reason I continue to visit a Chilis once or twice a year.

Decent Chilli’s restaurant with good food and service. The parking is excellent and the margaritas are very good.
My favorite is a cheeseburger with wonderful thick apple bacon. The chicken sandwich is also very good.
Don’t forget chips and queso for an appetizer.
