Easy Passports & Visas

This company is full of liars, thieves and incompetent jokers. They recently changed their name to Expedited Passports and Visas, but same company. They actually misplaced my passport, which resulted in them turning it in late to the Dept of State, and my passport returned to me 3 weeks late. How do I know this? I called the Dept of State myself — they were completely transparent. I sent my passport in on April 2, but this firm did not turn it in until April 12! Why would I pay extra for this??? Meanwhile this firm (ESV) basically told lies after lies, blaming everyone but themselves for the delay in my passport. They have no special relationship, they are not located near any passport center, and they never return your phone calls. Save your time, money, and sanity — don’t use them.

I, too, would give this company a ZERO rating if it was an option. I mailed in my documents for a 2 day service on a Friday. They received the documents on a Monday but didn’t submit until Tuesday late afternoon, as I found out through the department of state (status update hotline). I called the day before travel and was told that they can FEDEX same day ship for an extra fee. I agreed and was later told that my passports were not ready and that it was an issue with the government.
I was very angry, missed my flight and missed my cousin’s destination wedding. I was getting more answers from the department of state on status updates. Even when it was ready, Vince and Kevon told me that several phone calls to the passport office have not been returned and as far as they know, were not ready. I still had a couple days to enjoy Cancun and was planning to fly from Chicago to Houston, where my passports were. When I called and texted, Vince never returned my messages. I could have flown out, pick up the passport and fly to Cancun for a cheaper price. They have poor communication and poor customer service. They don’t keep you updated. I am hoping to receive a full refund as stated on their website. After reading prior reviews, looks like I’m not going to get it.

TOTAL SCAM. ZERO STARS. Their costumer service is HORRIBLE. Do not trust this company with your important documents, time or money!
I wish I read these other Unilocal reviews before I tried their service. I paid for the 3 day expedited passport renewal and never received it. After 4 days passed and still no passport I emailed Hydee M., my «specialist» who never returned my email. I called the next day and she apologized for the delay and confirmed with me that everything had been submitted correctly and that my passport would arrive in 5 days (not 3 – 4 like I had paid for) but still arriving in time before my trip so I was fine with that. 5 days later the passport still had not arrived and all of my email and telephone communications were flat out IGNORED. The day of my trip came and went and still no passport. Days after my scheduled departure date they finally answered but I was refused a refund for the 3 day expedited renewal I paid for even though their site has a 100% money back guarantee. Three weeks later and still no passport and refusing to give me back my money? As if having my holiday ruined wasn’t already enough, refusing to give the refund is absolutely horrific.

This place was incredibly unprofessional and lied about what the website said and after I was charged, told me a completely different date I would receive it and would have to pay more. I tried to cancel the service because I realized this and they told me that I wouldn’t get my money back! COMPLETE SCAM, I deserve my money back if I didn’t even receive any service!

Kevon was a pleasure to work with but these people need to do their research. They new I was in a city that offered expedient passport service and instead of just referring me there I accidently went to one and got my passport in a couple of days but not from them. I tried to get a full refund, but they only kicked me back $ 50 after paying 250 for receiving absolutely nothing. Not happy at all.

Im disputing the charges from this company, because they are not giving me a refund, and I will not let them charge me for the unprofessional and absurd service I have received from them on a constant basis for the last 2 weeks.
I applied and hired their services on Aug 14, and paid for a 5 – 7 day service, since my flight to Hong Kong wasnt until Aug 24^th. I was already experiencing very slow response times and attentiveness from the staffs of this company, and they are very hard to reach by phone.
Few days later, I found out that its 5 – 7 BUSINESS days, so I immediately told my case managers (Kevon G and Vince Seide) that im happy to pay more to upgrade to an even quicker service (3 – 5 business days); however, at least 2 of the employees I have spoken to (i have interacted with at least 4 different employees) guaranteed that my passport will arrive before the 24^th.
I called almost every single day during those 2 weeks to check on their progress, and i ask everytime for them to call me with an update, whether its good or bad news. They never call back.
I grew concerned– on Aug 21^st, Friday, I called the hotline to see if my passport will arrive that Friday or Saturday, since my flight on Aug 24^th was in the morning. The lady, Heidi, says theres a chance it may arrive before Aug 24^th, but theres also a chance it wont arrive until the 24^th.
So I pushed my flight back to Aug 25^th, not wanting to take the chance of receiving it the morning of my flight.
However, my passport didnt even arrive on that Monday the 24^th! I called again, and they claim that the state department agency is having a delay, and they will mail my passport that day. So I had to push my flight back by a day again, hoping the passport the next day.
I asked them to give me a call to confirm that my passport has been mailed out of their office that day, since it would be a nightmare to change my flight again for the 3^rd time. They obviously didnt give me a call back, not did they pick up.
Today, i was suppose to have received my passport this morning, so i can catch a red-​eye flight later tonight. I have a family member in the hospital bed waiting for me, and ive been delayed again due to this company’s lack of urgency during those 2 weeks. So I went to the NY Passport Agency, which I shouldve done from the beginning, and im in the waiting room now posting this. I will be receiving my passport in 2hrs from now, according to this bureau.
I obviously canceled this site’s service, telling them that im getting the NY Passport Agency to take over my application, and I expect a full refund.
This site obviously refused, claiming it was «the agency’s delay», and it wasnt their fault– whatever that means. I look forward to disputing their charges with my bank.

If I could give them a ZERO star I would. They told me that they were «experts» in delivering to me all that I needed. Yet, I handle to eventually drive down to the passport office myself to ultimately get my passport. Even then, they still charged me for the service that they did not render (in dispute right now) — which was getting me my passport. Not once did they take responsibility for their lack of effectiveness or incompetent communication. Easy Passports & Visas was more than willing to blame me and the US Gov’t for their inability to accomplish their job.
